recent spawns[edit]

spawns are getting worse here for my 55 :S did they nerf it? --Firadesunna 09:50, 21 September 2008 (UTC)

Kurzick settlment[edit]

were in this zoen was the settlment--70.251.242.179 20:24, 1 March 2009 (UTC)i make minions fun

I think it was right around where the Statue of Dwayna is located, although I don't believe there is anything left of the settlement. 76.30.79.54 21:05, 1 March 2009 (UTC)

Skitt the Skizzle[edit]

I confirmed his presence here this morning, so I added his name to the list of bosses. Odd that Skitt's personal page listed him as being in Nebo Terrace, but the Nebo Terrace page didn't have him listed. Astralphoenix777 04:58, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

Undead Bosses[edit]

I've just undertaken extensive research running out of Bergen Hot Springs (300 times to be exact, which is precisely how long it took me to get Azibo Painfeast to appear!), and have updated all the undead boss pages related to this map. I also have some spawn % data, which I have added in the notes section. Astralphoenix777 15:42, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

Vanquishing[edit]

I know the vanquishing numbers on this page are approx, but i just vanqd at 151. 173.60.153.13 08:11, 7 October 2009 (UTC)

148 foes, 41min, vanq/maping. Very easy area and not even the tengu/skelly mobs change that. The entire map your team is fighting foes with a number advantage and against all but tengu/skellies its 2v1. Note, if you start from Beetleton clear the area south of town first as its a dead end at its along way back around should these end up being the last foes you missed. I thought the map was a big circular path so ended up coming back around for it before returning to the Cursed lands portal for that vanq. If you actually need any tips for this zone, hex removal is nice. Justice 23:35, 3 April 2011 (UTC)

Roughly 145 foes 30-40m. Pretty easy area. Just make sure to be meticulous about not missing the 2-3 mob groups with weird patrol paths. I started at Beetleton as Justice mentioned and cleared out that first initial area. I would have easily missed them were it not for his note. There are several groups back there tucked away. Little holy damage might be nice for the skeleton groups of which a few have several monks. Otherwise, really not much to be said about this vanquish. --LunarRXA (talk) 20:29, 4 May 2018 (UTC)

I just had 265 with a WiK quest active. -arnosluismans (talk) 12:17, 21 March 2020 (UTC)
You should put that information on Nebo Terrace (War in Kryta). Edit : the page already says "range from 205 to 272", thanks though--Ruine User Ruine Eternelle Ruine Eternelle.jpg Eternelle 18:52, 21 March 2020 (UTC)

Apr 9 Update[edit]

Or I at least assume it was from that update.

After seeing the whole Shining Blade Camp and how they mention a brigand attack, I head over to Bergen Hot Springs to travel north toward where the Artisan and the Elder are. On the way, there was a dialogue between a Farmer Milton and some White Mantle. Something about Milton's land being repossessed by someone named Laymen Josef. Despite this not being actually AT Nebo Terrace the village or dealing at all with the Artisan or the Elder, I assume it has to do with the recent War In Kryta situation.

I'll upload a screen of the dialogue soon.

Here's the picture. I don't know how to use Wikicode well enough to embed the image or whatever, so I just uploaded and linked it.

--Knux 07:52, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
Update - I tried to go back and see what would happen if I managed to save Farmer Milton (he died in the skirmish the first time). When I went back, the spawns were normal again. I don't know if this is a one-time spawn only or if it's random. If it's one-time, then can someone else go in with some protection and healing skills to keep him alive and see if he has any dialogue afterward. Otherwise I'm going to keep rezoning to see if the spawn occurs again. --Knux 07:57, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
Update 2 - One massive sigh. I can't seem to get the spawn to occur again. I tried on a different character, nothing. I went to the Shining Blade Camp to see if that was a prerequisite for the spawn occurring. Still nothing.
I also wonder if there are more instances like this around Kryta. This one seemed to happen near a building or structure of some sort, so perhaps that will be something to help us find more of them.
--Knux 08:16, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
I wonder if the newly added Peacekeepers only appear here if you finished Prophecies, or if they are now always there. Lore-wise, they shouldn't be there before you finish the game, as at the time you get to Kryta, you're still working for the White Mantle. I'll go and try it out. Someone could add a chapter on the page with the new enemies after finishing Prophecies... Sjeng talk 10:02, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
On a character that had not completed any campaigns, the peacekeepers did not spawn in their area. I would assume that their spawn behaviour is the same as the Shining Blade Camp; i.e., According to community manager Regina Buenaobra : "To see the Shining Blade Camp in Talmark Wilderness, you must complete either Prophecies or Eye of the North." Durd 15:21, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
I managed to save Milton. Here's his dialogue afterwards:

Hmm... I was hoping for something more substantial, but alright. Do you happen to remember the conditions your character was at when they spawned? (been to the camp, first time spawn, etc) --Knux 18:18, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
I had visited the Shining Blade Camp and triggered the dialogue between Salma and the scout. That was why I headed into Nebo Terrace, to check if the Artisian had anything to say about his wife's death (which he didnt). It was the first time I encountered this spawn, no other character of mine had seen it before. I dont think it's important whether he lives or not if they only spawn once per account. Elder Sobel[edit]

I don't understand why these NPC's are only listed in the wiki on the landmark page, But.... User Ilr Sobel in nebo terrace.jpg
It should also be noted that all the "Peacekeepers" basically use skins from Pre-ascalon Bandits. That ties this NPC and whatever future events she's involved in together as being part of the Explorable itself. Also the dialog with Salma before this doesn't say Nebo Village, it says Nebo Terrace. IoW: Way to be Counterintuitive peeps --ilrUser ilr deprav.png 21:49, 9 April 2010 (UTC)

Also note that they use the same skins as the bandits who follow Verata in Kessex Peak. I don't think there is really any regional distinction between Ascalon bandits and Krytan bandits. I honestly don't understand exactly what your point is in posting this. However, I just want to clear it up that many of the skins are used in different places around Tyria (world). In fact, if we're going to place these bandits anywhere, they (their skins) are most heavily borrowed from the Kessex Peak bandits. All of them with the exception of the giant enforcers are found in Kessex Peak before the recent update.
Otherwise, I have no clue why Elder Sobel is not listed on this page. I simply don't understand where the peacekeeper-to-Presearing comparison came from, or why it was even mentioned. Sorry if I've just muddled up clear waters. --Knux 05:48, 10 April 2010 (UTC)

Disagree[edit]

I disagree with the addition of the War in Kryta content to this page. I believe it needs to be kept separate. As per the discussion Talk:War_in_Kryta#Encounters. -- Wyn User Wynthyst sig icon2.png talk 10:31, 25 April 2010 (UTC)

The continued addition of this information to this page is only making things worse, while the discussion has all but been forgotten. I'm truly disappointed in the general community, but mostly in you Santax for just running roughshod over valid concerns and valid options. -- Wyn User Wynthyst sig icon2.png talk 08:49, 1 May 2010 (UTC)
As you said, the discussion was forgotten, and I'm not just going to stop documenting the game because you have a different opinion on where the info should be kept. If we hadn't ocntinued documenting the game until the discussion was complete, like you suggested, barely any of this War in Kryta stuff would have been documented at all. --Santax (talk · contribs) 08:52, 1 May 2010 (UTC)
Why? You went for 2 weeks without documenting anything. It wasn't until I proposed a valid way of documenting it in an easy to find way that you suddenly got busy. But whatever. -- Wyn User Wynthyst sig icon2.png talk 08:58, 1 May 2010 (UTC)
Correction: It wasn't until I had the spare time that I suddenly got busy. I exist in real life as well. But whatever. --Santax (talk · contribs) 08:59, 1 May 2010 (UTC)
