Talk:Olias

The current NPC infobox does not support multiple campaign listings. So, I put Olias as Nightfall, since you can still apparently unlock him for PvP if you have Nightfall and not Prophecies. If this is wrong, someone correct it. ~ Kailianna Firesoul 19:45, 29 April 2007 (EDT)

It does support multiple campaigns, actually. Just use campaign2 = Prophecies. There can be up to 4 campaigns. {{NPC infobox}} has the details, in case you're interested. --Dirigible 19:52, 29 April 2007 (EDT)
Oh thanks. That's what I get for not reading the manual, I guess :P ~ Kailianna Firesoul 19:58, 29 April 2007 (EDT)

Monster[edit]

Has anyone EVER gotten over how BUTT UGLY Olias is? I'm sorry. I had to say that. Especially bad for us who chose Margrid (admittedly her story path is more exciting though, IMO) and need to use this fiend for necromancer purposes until Gain Master of Whispers. File:Esig2.jpg Eldin 16:33, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

Male necromancers are mostly butt ugly if you ask me... -- ab.er.rant sig 16:44, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
True. But Olias is just overkill for me. Everyone knows necromancers control undead, and are NOT undead nor are meant to APPEAR undead (with some exceptions, though). File:Esig2.jpg Eldin 18:58, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
At least Olias is cool. Dunkoro is simply ugly. Capcom 18:59, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
I don't think Olias looks undead at all. -- ab.er.rant sig 00:36, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
No idea what it is, but yeah, Dunkoro's face seems as though it was designed differently from others. More 2D or something. I can't say I care for Morgahn's freakishly blue eyes either, though. File:Esig2.jpg Eldin 16:07, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
I'd really like to see an armor set for Olias that gives him his old uniform back. When I first heard that there was going to be a White Mantel hero, I was thinking "Hell yeah, those guys look awesome" and then he turned out to have some boring generic looking default armor and the weird Elonian armor for upgrades. Is anyone else with me on this? - User HeWhoIsPale sig.PNG HeWhoIsPale 14:05, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
Well, we've got Livia now for hawt Necromancer company. :P (I made her Blood Magic though. Olias is still my MM hero.) - Zaxares 09:05, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
Same here :) Master of Whispers is my hexer hero. -- ab.er.rant User Ab.er.rant Sig.png 14:59, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
He's ugly indeed xD, it's a pity he doesn't have White Mantle Ritualist's armor... Hey , not all necro's are ugly, mine's smoking hot xD. his mysterious armor seems like a modified version of ancient, i like that one xD (but i don't like ancient armor). dytje 19:39, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
Don't hate on Morgahn. His eyes are awesome. 71.194.87.164 03:40, 1 July 2011 (UTC)

Attoron?[edit]

Who the Hell is Attoron? Outdated name of Olias before release? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:139.182.8.213 (talk).

New sections go to bottom. Since "Attoron" is never mentioned in the article, it helps to tell people where you got that word/name from. -- ab.er.rant User Ab.er.rant Sig.png 04:47, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
I don't know when Attoron was changed to Olias; I just came across that name, too. Apparently the same thing was with Acolyte Jin. «troy frostwind» 01:41, 24 August 2008 (UTC)

'bug' note[edit]

"In some missions, even if there is only one player with Olias, he will also appear as a "Krytan Necromancer"."

Possible bug, but I'm thinking this happened because Olias is in the mission, as NPC or etc. Thoughts? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.2.73.52 (talk).

I removed that note. I'd be willing to give it a test if the "some missions" is clarified further. -- ab.er.rant User Ab.er.rant Sig.png 13:54, 15 March 2009 (UTC)
He will appear as "Krytan Necromancer" if he appears in the same area as a friendly NPC or if the quest deals with him in some way. Nay the One and Only User Nay the One and Only SIG.jpg 22:00, 23 November 2010 (UTC)

About the notes[edit]

"Olias' default weapon is an uncustomized blue Evil Eye Staff with Energy +10, Dark damage 10-17, an attribute requirement of 7 Blood Magic and HSR 20% Blood Magic, it cannot be placed into storage."

No, this is not the case. The weapon is customized and can be placed in storage. It can not be sold or salvaged, like other hero weapons. I suppose the note is outdated. 84.104.81.205 09:24, 12 July 2009 (UTC)

HP regen bug?[edit]

Normally, when you're not in combat, your health starts regenerating slowly. Olias, however, stops this regeneration whenever he uses skills such as Jagged Bones, Death Nova and [Blood of the Master]]. I have to block those skills each time we're out of battle, or his health won't regen. (Usually a healer will take care of that, but in this case, I didn't bring a healer, only skills that steal health). Is this a bug? Sjeng talk 17:38, 8 January 2010 (UTC)

Not really, the same thing would happen to a player, see Health Regeneration. -- FreedomBoundUser Freedom Bound Sig.png 17:40, 8 January 2010 (UTC)
Don't worry he will stop before he sacrifices himself to death, because unlike many human players I have seen, Hero AI apparently has some form of common sense humans are unable to obtain Nay the One and Only User Nay the One and Only SIG.jpg 22:02, 23 November 2010 (UTC)
