Stub[edit]

What type of article is that? I would "stub" it if i would know it...far to less information with that many npcs over elona... —ZerphatalkThe Improver 17:25, 22 October 2007 (UTC)

The problem is that we really don't know much about the OoW, so we either have a short little article, or a stub. Although I totally agree, this should just be stubbed, as it's not really giving any information besides "OHAY GO2 CHANTRY 2 SEE DEM". Faer 13:52, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
Stubbed, it only fits in {{stub}} Fall 14:00, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
I'm pretty sure you learn through some missions that the Order was the elite spy service for Turai Ossa and Kormir says they were members of his elite guard before becoming the Order

The Mummy Returns[edit]

Just noticed that they seemed quite a bit (clothing, weapons, fighting undead and demons) like the "Medjai" from the movie the Mummy Returns. Possible source of inspiration? Paddymew 18:33, 16 May 2009 (UTC)

Doubt it, what's with you and the Mummy? The Medjai in the movie have clothing similar to any middle eastern. Elona is based off of Africa/Middle Eastern/India for the most part. Ever thought the Order of Whispers' clothing was based off of real life clothing, and not that from a movie? Besides, being fully clothed in as a secretive organization, that is in a very sunny location, seems an ample move. Logic>Reference. -- Azazel The Assassin\talk 20:54, 16 May 2009 (UTC)
Lots of dark clothing < Lots of bright clothing when in hot areas. Both serves as camouflage in the desert and because darker clothes gain heat faster. The thing "with me and the Mummy" is that I instantly thought "Order of Whispers!" when the Medjai showed up and started fighting the warriors of Anubis. It isn't just the clothing, by the way. And the term I used was "inspiration", not "based off"... Paddymew 13:54, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
