meh still not very powerful. I play mesmer every once in a while, and skills like power spike blow this out of the water IMO. Anyone else? --Lou-Saydus 18:34, 5 December 2007 (UTC)

This skill is nearly over powered now... use frustration or arcane conundrum... echo this twice 95dmg x 3 = 285 then power spike them for an extra 120 and its 400 dmg spike that cant be lowered by armor03:32, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
I wouldn't call it overpowered. You'd have to do have a lot of skills to make this work in to a 400 damage spike, as well as someone who would keep casting through all that. You won't see this anywhere in HA or GvG, and only occasionally in TA. It'll be confined to AB, PvE, and RA. I doubt it'll see any use in HB unless someone puts out a PvX build with it and sets it to "Great". =\ RitualDoll 05:33, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
Lets call it balanced then... woah a mod that actually balanced something? 10:02, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
Funny thing about that, Doll, is that now there just so happens to be an Overload/Wastrel's Worry bar getting 5-5-5's on PvX. And yes, it IS intended for GvG lmao 75.164.186.76 00:15, 20 October 2008 (UTC)

I would hardly consider that spiking sense you will have to cast three other spells to maximize the full damage and plus catch them casting a spell ( could possibly work with meteor shower).Highway Man 05:55, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

It's still better than dark pact.

can use it with Backfire and Soul Leech and do some dirty dmg--Justice 07:38, 19 September 2008 (UTC)

works well with backfire since this casts as fast as an interupt but its not an interupt. AKA instead of trying to mix in interupt spells use this instead with backfire. Synergy. Re-adding/wording my note if there are no objections within a week or so.--Justice 04:57, 4 December 2008 (UTC)

Is the damage armor-ignoring? 72.222.217.198 13:49, 26 February 2009 (UTC)

logically yes--89.129.154.106 10:06, 10 March 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, I'd think Backfire and Soul Leech would give the opposite effect that you'd want when equipping Overload in that you want opponents to cast spells, not be encouraged to hold off. For that matter, Wastrel's Worry would make a nice pairing with this skill. --80.16.169.162 13:09, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
