Length of Effect[edit]

Well if it's for 0 seconds, it's not going to be very useful...--MP47 (Talk) (Contr.) 17:45, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

Yep, seems kinda stupid. 118.92.12.97 22:35, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
Unofficial atm. Lost-Blue 22:37, April 2, 2008
The buffs lenght (and therefore start and end) is controlled serverside. (for obvious reasons) As long as the server does not send data to tell this icon to appear and for how long; it doesnt appear. And thats why when this icon gets extracted for gw.dat is will say 0 seconds. Xantalas 07:38, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

How to aquire[edit]

When do you get this buff? when the frog or gaile makes an appearance in town or w/e? 65.34.193.183 17:12, 5 April 2008 (UTC)

Yes. When the Frog appears, he somehow gives you the Party Time! buff for three minutes. Calor Talk 17:15, 5 April 2008 (UTC)

Note[edit]

Removed the redundant note about Gaile's quote - we know what it's for now, and the sentence didn't make much sense anyway. --User Brains12 Spiral.png Brains12 \ Talk 00:55, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

dosnt transfer to hall wut wut?[edit]

why dost it allow you to keep it on and go to your hall so you can use fireworks?75.165.108.147 19:00, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

Because then you aren't at the party anymore ;o Tain 19:03, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

Aquiring In The Future[edit]

Well, it sure does say three minutes, but I think we know if we've been to a "party" in the near past we conclude that three minutes is a definate lie and the bar thing does not go down. So, I think I'd like to note that; There will definately be more chances of getting this, or else there wouldn't be a time limit. So people, save your money, and buy the items when they're back down to 100g/ea. Still--100g x 250 x 5 = I don't like. But you're better off then than buying now at the inflated prices of 200+ gold.--Ʀєʟʟɑ 04:09, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

Available from Fireworks Masters?[edit]

Why not allow this buff to be bought from either fireworks masters or Luxon/ Kurzick merchants at player-held towns in Factions? It would be a great way to get people to those towns in Factions, let Alliances be known for throwing parties, and make holding a town mean something more than just a discount on lockpicks.

"just"? —ZerphatalkThe Improver 19:23, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
That is a great idea... HOWEVER, the cost of the party would be huge (100k, as that is the most 1 person can hold at a time?) and not last that long. ~Nelson(n122333)User N122333 sig image.jpg 02:16, 11 June 2011 (UTC)

PARTY TIME IN FUTURE EVENTS?[edit]

Will You be able to aquire this buff during future events and will You be able to trade the collector stuff which could be exchanged during Gaile's Farewell during next events?...would surely be nice --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:82.139.154.98 (talk).

Actually I think it'd be nice if they added a buff like this to say, using a crate of fireworks :P For the duration of the fireworks in your guild hall, party animal points are doubled.76.173.218.183
Nobody but Anet knows really. — Teh Uber Pwnzer 23:45, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

huh...id assume they would use it in the future, but then again, they didnt use it for the 3rd B-day celebration, which, from Anets point of view, i imagine, is the most important gw event of all (it's their game, you know, id be happy if I had an MMORPG that lasted this long and still has hype)--User Raph Sig.pngRaph Talky 02:00, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

Let there be one of these at the dragon festival! I kept my fingers crossed at New Years, but, no luck. :[

Here's to hoping that "Party Time" doesn't actually mean "Gaile Time" UserAegisEdesiaSig.JPG Aegis 11:36, 3 July 2008 (UTC)

Ye, make it during Halloween 2008! xD Elementalist-tango-icon-200.png Ocravia Deathblade 18:44, 23 October 2008 (UTC)

For those interested, Linsey Murdock said they are not likely to have this buff again in the future. It encourages players to generate a lot of effects in a zone thus putting a large strain on the servers. --Thervold 19:20, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
