Well isnt that lovely. a high nrg cost skill that recharges a warriors High nrg cost long cool down stances...any1 else see a problem here? decrese its nrg cost an it golden. As it is now it jsut not worth it. especialy considering that the majority of warrios stances have a 15 sec cool down time and a weak 3-7 sec duration. personally i would like to see the warrior stances reverted to thier orginal cost, duration, and cool down.--The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:68.240.131.166 (talk).
- Huh. You're sure it wouldn't be nice to have any elite stances with a usual recharge of 30 be recharged once every twenty seconds for 10 energy? I mean, I would sure like to use Gladiator's Defense, hit with Renewing Smash, wait until the stance's duration runs out (10 being optimal, of course), activate it again, and then, around the end of the duration, hit with Renewing Smash and repeat. All this for 30 energy total over the course of 20 seconds. Doesn't sound appealing? Well then, it's time to just not use this in a build. Chaiyo Kaldor 02:25, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

- To reduce energy cost I guess; I've seen on your knees better used with ranger stances. --

- The big issue here is that in the wake of the "Great Warrior Defensive Skill Lynching" of that dark dark age not so long ago, there aren’t any good warrior stance that have a recharge time long enough or effect powerful enough to justify its use. The NRG cost in a major crutch as the only warrior stances that have recharge times also cost NRG and unless these are the only NRG skills on your bar you will ironically see under use do to overuse. As to say you will drain almost all your NRG after the first cycle and will find it difficult to repeat, and repetition is the whole point of this skill... To really make this skill shine warrior Defensive stances would have to be restored to their former glory which is another argument all of its own. A decrease in NRG cost is Essential for the validity of this skill, I would consider even a decrease in recharge time especially since most Warrior Defensive stance have short duration/short recharge times now and most warrior offensive stances have an auto cancel limiting factor built into them (Berserker, Tigers stance, *Dwarven Battle Stance*<---that’s the gem right there that really the only offensive stance that would be worth 10nrg to renew only problem is it cost 10NRG too XD!). It’s a skill "in the making" not a bad skill but lacks practicality should really be on ANET's list of skills that need a little attention.
