Vanquish count[edit]

Confirmed, 157 is the minimum number of foes that spawn. (I don't think there were any pop-ups, and I didn't have any quests active that were known to increase the count.) --171.66.137.210 10:26, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

Not necessarily, a lot of mobs are random so you might have gotten a larger-than-minimum version of some mobs. --Jette User Jette awesome.png 10:27, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
157 foes, 57min, vanq/mapping. Not a terribly hard zone. Thinking ~75% physicals so dont be shy on taking a blind skill. Ruby Djinns (+boss) come pretty thin on this map but a simple daze (technobabble) or a knockdown ("You move like a dwarf!) wouldnt hurt (Pain Inverter doesnt do much on this map). Griffons are decent healers but generally you will be fighting them 2vs1 so just mob them down. For bounties(only 3) I did Yahnur Market and went clockwise and it works perfectly. Sorry, I have no diea how to edit a wiki page or even a discussion page, but with the kill the suitors part of the Halloween quest Til Death Do Us Part activated, I vanquished 213 foes (and no pets). I don't know if that warrants editing the number of foes vanquished. 152.7.14.158 03:44, 30 October 2010 (UTC)Nova?

~30m, ~165 foes. Similar to Justice overall 3/4ths of this zone is pretty benign. The only area that presents any real difficulty is the caverns in the North Eastern section of the map. It's filled with lots of Roaring Ethers (Energy Surge) and Djinn (2 Dervish + 1 Ruby (Searing Flames) or Diamond. The boss group is pretty deadly as well. Definitely suggest heeding Justice's advice and bringing an interrupt.--LunarRXA (talk) 16:58, 28 May 2018 (UTC)

Today I completed a vanquish with only 150 foes. -arnosluismans (talk) 17:16, 21 October 2021 (UTC)

Bug[edit]

A bug is an error, flaw, mistake, failure, problem or fault in a game that prevents it from working as intended.
The misplaced marker doesn't really prevents anything from working as intended, does it?
I've replaced it with an anomaly tag. -- BlackHoleSun 17:56, 20 April 2009 (UTC)

The portal marker is meant to indicate where the exit portal is. By being at an incorrect location, the map does not fully function as intended. "Working as intended" is not limited to technical problems. -- ab.er.rant User Ab.er.rant Sig.png 16:00, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
When mapping this zone I noticed the wilderness portal and map marker were off by ~shout range aswell. Confused me so I flagged Jora ahead of me just incase the map marker was right(vanqing at the time). The portal itself is the correct one. Justice 02:13, 13 September 2010 (UTC)

Norgu and Goren[edit]

I noticed that Norgu (as an NPC) still shows up in my instance of the area- I assume this is because I picked Goren during the Brains or Brawn quest, and got Norgu in the post-Abaddon quest. Should the NPC list be updated to reflect this? 96.33.173.168 00:54, 11 March 2011 (UTC)

I have just entered the are with two players. One who is new to Nightfall doing "All's well that ends well" and one who has completed everything a long time ago. I have Norgu and Goren standing in their location outside the palace and Prince Bokka and Goren (again) inside the Palace. 82.143.219.87 08:21, 18 November 2011 (UTC)
