[edit] Appearance

it could maybe noted that unlike other Me/Mo Charrs, this one uses the Skin of a Charr Ritualist. —ZerphatalkThe Improver 13:53, 12 November 2007 (UTC)

the mesmer charr i meant were Charr Dominators. Suppose his shape can be used for these of Charr Wardkeepers and Charr Avengers. —ZerphatalkThe Improver 16:47, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

Question

Is if possible to kill him before he uses "Tactical Retreat" with some heavy quick spike damage and Deep Wound?Sloh Em Oshun 18:19, 1 March 2009 (UTC)

I would guess not, since the point of the quest Veiled Threat is to chase him through the three layers of the dungeon. If you did manage to spike him/degen him before or as he uses "Tactical Retreat" his health would probably 'wrap around' like that of the Norn NPCs you fight before they'll talk to you. 92.0.130.239 15:21, 8 July 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Notes

I've not done this, but from reading the skill descriptions for "sniper shot" and "mark of the master", it would seem very obvious that once Rragar (who uses mark of the master) is dead, that Hidesplitter WOULD stop using sniper shot since it would be a normal hit. Only exception i think would be if mark of the master was still active when Rragar died... :\ 68.104.205.160 05:21, 17 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] No regen/health regain

The notes on the page need to be changed, as currently they say Rragar has no health regen, but will regain health (a simple typo I think - Rragar has no health regen and will not regain health, so it's quite possible to chip away at his health until he dies, however many times the party wipes). Also Hidesplitter appears to lack regen/health regaining skills as well.

(And I hope like hell my first poke of the wiki doesn't go too pearshaped...)
