Now it's gonna be used a lot in PVP. Poor linkers, poor warriors...
- This is a very good buff. Makes the skill a lot more practical. 145.94.74.23 11:08, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
- indeed. now this skill isn't useless when the other team doesn't have signet mesmers. lol. I liked the 9 second long (or nearly that, depending on fast casting) Signet of Humility. Your ranger could take a nap and grow a beard waiting to interrupt it. Still very good, though Loser223 00:35, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] "Unconditional"
Both in game and on wiki it clearly says cold damage, am I missing something here...aren't rangers just as susceptible to cold damage as fire? Or am I missing the meaning of the word unconditional and thinking it means armor ignoring...--Ʀєʟʟɑ 23:29, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
- In the hero AI anomaly note, I think it means something different than what you're thinking. It means that "Heros will not use this spell just to deal damage, they will only use it on foes that have signets to interfere with.". In this regard, conditional damage would be like Necrosis, specifically stated, "If X, deal Y [element?] damage".
- The unconditional damage you're thinking about is the typeless, armor-ignoring "Deal 5 damage" sort of damage. Cold damage has an element, therefore type, therefore isn't typeless, therefore is affected by armor, plus is also affected by ranger armor and ward againt elements and all that.

>____> He means in the skill description it says unconditional damage. Unconditional damage means there is no requirement for the damage to be dealt, or, no condition needs to be met to deal damage. For example, flare deals a straight 50 fire damage, plain and simple. VutSearing Flames requires them to be no fire to deal damage, I.E. a condition must be met. - Right, i figured that out i just confused it with armor-ignoring--Ʀєʟʟɑ 22:15, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Range
Added note on which foes are damaged. It turns out this skill also acts as an AoE spell. Don't know if this was known, just found out while playtesting my build today. I saw something, and I went to Churrhir Fields to confirm(or bust) my suspicions. Turns out I wasn't seeing things, and it does hit Adjacent foes with the damage.
