The only heal in guild wars with no recharge (assuming caster has enchants on)?.i love this skill.--Zurvan 12:28, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

Copyvio notice was removed[edit]

The copyvio is actually in the creation and 2nd edits I seem to recall. The copyvio notice was removed and its current appearance is post copyvio. As I understand, the copyvio being in the history means that the article will potentially be deleted, so further edits should be made using the link to the /temp page Fox 11:09, 31 March 2007 (EDT)

Copyvio notice has been incorrectly removed again[edit]

In light of the White Mantle saga, I am not going to replace it. However, this article remains a copyvio. Fox 11:13, 31 March 2007 (EDT)

Bah, and I threw in an edit before I realised why it was a copyvio.. Just let an admin see this page and they will solve it hopefully. That copyvio-war earlier must have been really frustrating :/ - Anja Astor 11:39, 31 March 2007 (EDT)

My understanding is that the article itself isn't a copyright violation if all the copyright-violating content has been removed from it. We do have our procedure for starting a new article at Talk:Signet of Pious Light/temp in these cases, but I thought it was more for the convenience factor in generating a new version without violations in the history rather than any legal necessity; the non-violating content and edits contributed after a violation can still be used. To get technical, the main thing would be whether or not we could show a GFDL-compatible history trail for any piece of content used in the current article -- and we can already do that (and it wouldn't be the same as the complete wiki-history of the article). That's just my personal opinion anyways; I'm not a lawyer.
A separate but closely related issue is whether or not the article history needs to be cleaned out of potential copyright violations. See User talk:Rezyk#Reverting vs deleting copyvio edits. (Currently seeking ArenaNet input on this matter) If we decide to do that, I think it can be handled with a delete and selective restore (as long as the reverts were total, not partial), so users should be able to continue editing in the meantime. --Rezyk 12:47, 31 March 2007 (EDT)

Confused[edit]

So, is a requirement to lose an enchantment? Because it says 'if an enchanment is removed'. DX Tengent 02:58, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

If you have an enchantment on you when this is casted, it will recharge instantly. that doesnt mean you must have an enchantment, hence the recharge. if this is casted when you have no enchantments, regular recharge applies. --User-Wandering Traveler Sig.png Wandering Traveler 03:02, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

note?[edit]

should we add in the epic synergiez with vital boon? its pretty much a heal that gets you back to full hp.Oni 14:16, 18 May 2008 (UTC)

Worth tapping into healing prayers for Patient Spirit, the 5 sec shorter recharge + 1/4 sec casting speed + getting Signet of Pious Light disabled for any reason doesn't break the healing too much + Patient Spirit can be cast on an ally if needed = sick survivability, especially if you run Avatar of Balthazar or Avatar of Dwayna. - Ander01 03:44, 6 May 2009 (UTC)

Diversion[edit]

Should we mention that the signet is recharged, even under the effect of diversion, if an enchantment is removed? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:66.131.214.76 (talk).

Already mentioned on Diversion --JonTheMon 18:39, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
I think it should be mentioned here, this is the best skill to get around Diversion. I don't think that being mentioned on the Diversion page is a good reason not to list this skill's effect on its own page. Even Glyph of Renewal mentions its ability. -~=Sparky User Sparky, the Tainted charr sig.PNG (talk) 16:51, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
I thought the best way to get around diversion was to wait 6 seconds. --Jette User Jette awesome.png 16:57, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
Waiting isn't a skill. -~=Sparky User Sparky, the Tainted charr sig.PNG (talk) 16:59, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
Waiting. Elite Stance. For 6...3...0 seconds, you don't use any skills because the other team has a mesmer. (Attribute: Inable to Pre-Veil) ~ WELL HELLO Chao 14:53, 25 September 2009 (UTC)

Other Skills?[edit]

On the note it tells that Vital Boon gives a good spike heal, but so does Faithful Intervention and Watchful Intervention. Should those be added to the notes as well?--Iggy The Iguana 21:08, 26 April 2010 (UTC)(Time off since late signing)

I would agree with you, i had no idea that this would spike heal you if you removed either of those enchants before reading this. I was under the assumption that the heal would only occur if your health fell below the required amount. But seeing as how it does heal you for a decent amount i think it should at least be mentioned. Also please sign with four tildes(~) Mavado 04:30, 19 March 2010 (UTC)

Note Incorrect[edit]

In the notes for SoPL it says...

Using with Vital Boon, Faithful Intervention, or Watchful Intervention can provide a large healing boost.

Now having used this skill with the skills in the note it will give a large healing boost with Vital Boon and Faithful Intervention, but saying it will give a boost with watchful intervention is wrong. This is because watchful intervention Heals for 50...170...200 the next time target ally's Health drops below 25%. unlike faithful intervention which heals if removed.

I'm removing watchful intervention from the note, if I am wrong in doing this please revert. --Abbess Katherine 03:43, 9 November 2010 (UTC)
