repeated use[edit]

It doesn't stack- they won't be taking 60 every time or anything like that. The duration will reset if you recast it though. – Emmett 21:55, 29 March 2010 (UTC)

Still though, decent synergy with Wastrel's. This is also a decent mitigator against divine favor/prot monks. The 2 second cast really limits it's use though IMO.

reuse time[edit]

Anyone else thinks that reuse should be dramatically decreased in order to have it spammed on many targets for PvE hexways? Or apply to nearby foes, just like Fragility does (and it recharges 4 times faster too). It's not really a PvE skill at the moment, you're better off taking Lingering Curse, Suffering, etc. than taking Assassin's Promise. –~=Ϛρѧякγ AHHH! (τѧιк) ←♥– 20:45, 21 May 2011 (UTC)
But really, why bother with triggering the meager ~20ish damages when you can discord and/or necrosis for 90-100s and not have to load up tons of hexes? =P
And yes, Necroes have many strong PvE Elites so you'd really only run AP on an ele so you can spam long recharging utility skills like churning earth and eruption but that's also discordway. ZencowUser Ox rider Sig.png 06:44, 22 May 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, also I mostly run my PvE with an own mesmerway. :) As I rely on many hexes, I was kind of frustrated not to have some Fragility-like thing for hexes. Oh well, no worries!--InariKettu 15:42, 22 May 2011 (UTC)
well i think, since this skill is comparable to barbs and fragility, it should be adjusted to compare to them. either make it aoe (ok, worst option, makes panic with wastrels and ineptitude mesmer combination far to strong), scale down times to 1 sec casttime and maybe 15 sec recharge or bring down the recharge to 5-10 and leave 2 sec casttime. hexes are far more expensive than conditions in the first place and there are only 2 classes focusing on them, with only 6 classes actually having hexes (while every class can use conditions, many of them being able to focus on them. only class missing on conditions is monk, with only ray of judgement). physical attacks are extremly common, especially if using minion master, 100b, scythe or even casters with spears, making any form of barbs stronger than soul barbs
