"File:Newquest.jpg" I don't have time to fill out the date, but I'll leave this here--Unendingfear User Unendingfear Gw2flyingmountsiglol.png 19:05, 30 October 2009 (UTC)

Ok, no bitching today :D Karate User Karate Jesus KJ for sig.png Jesus 19:18, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
requirements say you only need NF or Prof, does that mean you do *not* have to complete the previous quest (don't fear the reapers) in order to do this one? Or is the previous quest a requirement to do this one?
No tonics needed this time. Normal skills to cature a Skeleton of Dhuum I'm guessing. Groups are forming. SardaukarUser Sardaukar sig.png 19:22, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
But that doesn't answer what I'm asking. Do you need to complete the quest "Don't fear the Reapers" in order to take this quest?
Yes, you need to do the earlier quests to do this one. 20:27, 30 October 2009

There's another quest after it called Every Bit Helps. I'm too lazy to create the page. Karate User Karate Jesus KJ for sig.png Jesus 19:33, 30 October 2009 (UTC)

We need to be ascended for these quests. Argh! :P SardaukarUser Sardaukar sig.png 20:07, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
You mean you can't take the quest without ascension? Since the captured skeletons can be transferred between characters. 24.197.253.243 20:33, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
Can't get into Underworld without being ascended, effectively stopping the quest, I think is what was meant Shadow Runner 20:34, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
You don't need to enter UW on each character that does the quest. Have one character capture a pile of skeletons and put them in storage. 24.197.253.243 21:24, 30 October 2009 (UTC)

how to[edit]

just added a new video of the quests have a look if you need some help http://www.xfire.com/video/179cd1/ Blaze13 20:30, 30 October 2009 (UTC)

This is so utterly disappointing to me. Instead of a nice halloween quest, with special skills that bring you into the spirit, I find my mes at a fault yet again. So back to getting my speedclear whatever char that will make this happen except that my SC's dont give a shite for party-animal. Bah Humbug!Nizab 20:47, 30 October 2009 (UTC)

Agreed here. And for new people who have never been in the UW/don't have speed clear characters, it means no quest. I'm really disappointed this year.213.166.194.10 21:35, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
Well, not that it's any consolation for your mesmer, but I found my paragon very capable of these quests with a modified imbagon build and three heroes in tow. I timed it against an alliance member running 600/SS and I actually came out slightly ahead. I guess I'm just trying to say that not all is lost to speed clear/solo builds yet! 4.88.50.197 21:56, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
If you think you need a speed clear character or an 'imba' build for this quest, you're wrong.

I take it back. Two rit hero's spirit spammers, one necro heal and my mes with trytopthan signet and weakness trap. wheeee here come the ToT bags.84.26.144.104 09:30, 31 October 2009 (UTC)

Why[edit]

Why could ANet make the quests relatively easy for those who AREN'T hardcore players and DON'T have the time to figure out how to do some of these the proper way. I'm not only referring to these quests, but the previous one as well, "Don't Fear the Reapers". For people who don't know their way around the UW and didn't have a lot of time to get through it, it's pretty hard. These two are exactly the same. Those who don't know how to speed clear (or don't want to, like me), it's not a quest that is easily done. The Wintersday quests aren't especially hard, and at least you can have a party of other people to help you out. I was expecting something like those this Halloween, not this stuff. If they have a really special rare final reward for these quests, I'm gonna be pissed. --User Master Fast sig-icon.pngShinigami King 22:57, 30 October 2009 (UTC)

This quest can be soloed by a spirit spammer, or done with 3 heroes...It's not difficult and doesn't require a "hardcore" player. All it requires is common sense. 76.103.242.232 23:12, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
Yes but it is quite time-consuming and if you're not used to the UW it is difficult. And the quest before it WAS quite difficult, it took me 10 tries and I still haven't completed it. --User Master Fast sig-icon.pngShinigami King 23:40, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
I agree. Event quests should be easy even for low level players. No more 5th level character fun, as he will not enter UW. That's just stupid and restricting. It favors all those farming characters only. I understand that Anet wants people to get to know UW, to farm, finish fast titles, and let them buy GW2. All updates and changes of the game lead strictly to that point. But cant it be stopped just for events? They should be for everyone. IN ALL ASPECTS for everyone. If someone bought GW just before ween - no chances to get quests done. I wonder what the event politic will be for Wintersday - if the similar way, I wont even bother open GW on Wintersday... MistralPL 23:47, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
If they have quests like this again for Wintersday I will NOT be happy. Rewarding players for spending half their day on Guild Wars just to do this stuff is absolutely ridiculous. Of course, it's been like that for a while, with titles and all, but doing this on a "holiday" that's supposed to bring even the least active players out is atrocious. --User Master Fast sig-icon.pngShinigami King 00:08, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
The reapers quest takes <20 minutes. It is not difficult. It requires common sense. Besides that, quests that are too simple are not fun. If the quests were to be available to everyone and anyone, the rewards would not be worth it because anyone could create lvl 1s to grind the quest over and over. They let you have your fun with the first two quests, letting any level char in whether they were ascended or not, and now you have to be able to get into the uw to continue. If you can't do these quests learn to play the game76.103.242.232 00:29, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
Excuse me? You think that running around like a pansy FedEx-ing around in the UW was FUN? And why exactly should these quests be difficult in order to be fun? Who said that simple quests were not fun and/or rewarding? Yeah, seriously disappointed in these holiday quests. Not fun. At all. 209.89.252.164 00:47, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
Bawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, bawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, bawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww -FireFox User FireFox av.png 00:50, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
The reapers quest only took <20 minutes if you had mapped everything out according to videos and such and had rock candies or other speed boost items on hand. If you were a normal player that did none of this, you'd be dead in the water with that quest. And @FireFox: Why is it every single FUCKING time someone even REMOTELY complains about ANYTHING these days it's BAWWWWWWWWWW this and BAWWWWWWWWWWWWW that everyFUCKINGwhere? Can't people have a reasonable debate without putting in BAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW or other troll statements? Why am I even asking? --User Master Fast sig-icon.pngShinigami King 01:42, 31 October 2009 (UTC)

I have to agree. These quests were a let-down. Idmz 02:10, 31 October 2009 (UTC)

I don't feel the quests were a letdown (lore wise anyway). It irks me that some people without common sense distinct GW knowledge won't be able to do these or even attempt them at all (#3-4), but if the prizes are only going to be some EXP and holiday treats for the quests of the 30th and beyond, no one is really missing that much. late reply i know but honestly if you cant do this quest with a set of heros you SUCK. Its NOT time consuming, its NOT hard. god i just run an assassins promise/norn skill spammer on my sin and i own this with discord heros. specially when ive a partner using discord as well.
What about people who don't have all the campaigns or can't get the heroes you go on about? We're not talking about personal skill, we're talking about accessibilty to the majority of players in a fair way. So how about you stop presuming everyone's in your position and try to see the argument people are making here. I personally am not let down by the quests as the story and style is pretty interesting. I'm just frustrated that the quest line itself became resticted to players because of difficulty and requirements. Not the kind of thing anyone wants in a Holiday quest. 86.155.187.86 15:33, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
Me too, I could eventually do all these quests by myself, but I'm thinking about all the people who don't have access to all the things you say make the quests "easy". It's not easy for them. --User Master Fast sig-icon.pngShinigami King 17:04, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
The entire set of Halloween quests were retardedly easy. Just take your time with them. The quest before this is even more retardedly easy provided you don't try to rush the Pits area. It doesn't take any kind of hardcore player to complete these quests easily - just some good old common sense. ··· Danny Pew Pew 22:44, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
And if you really think I'm wrong, then BAWWWW and uninstall because you can't even play PvE. ··· Danny Pew Pew 22:45, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
User Life Guardian lolfearquest.jpg QUEST IS SRS BSNS AMIRITE? No candies were used. 76.103.242.232 23:43, 31 October 2009 (UTC)

Reset. the person who posted above me is an effing retard. and btw no matter WHAT team you run as long as you have a decent pve hero team this quest is easy as a 2dollar hook. im not one to just say "Bawwww lrn2playnoob" but seriously. for christ sake. this quest was retarded easy. btw the pic above me is of reapers not tide. that particular person needs to stop being a noob and post reaper pics on the reapers page. GG76.20.33.106 08:44, 1 November 2009 (UTC)

Almost this entire section has been about the reapers quest 76.103.242.232 08:50, 1 November 2009 (UTC)

Are the skeletons trade able?[edit]

"A character that cannot enter the Underworld can still complete this quest as long as another character on the account, that can enter the Underworld, collects and places the Captured Skeletons in storage so the other characters can turn them in." -- So can people trade these to other users? 76.6.79.104 00:26, 31 October 2009 (UTC)

No, they can only be transferred via storage. 76.103.242.232 00:29, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
And you can't drop them on the ground. Elephant 04:18, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
