Has anyone got an inscribable storm bow? ive been told they do drop in Domain of Anguish and Realm of Torment but ive never seen one so dont want to add it to here before i have comfirmation--The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:172.200.97.173 .

- I think FoW and UW end chests can give em, as I've gotten numerous inscribable Prophecies weapons from the FoW chest before. I hope so - I got rid of my Storm Bow and made a sexy Asuran Longbow and put max mods + 15^50 on it, but it's blue rarity - if I could get an inscribable stormbow, I would totally go back to it.

- I've got one in Gate of Pain mission, q13 though.

- Despite the description, and despite your screenshot, storm bows are not longbows. It is an anomoly. If you doubt this... take your ranger character with a longbow, and put your stormbow on your ranger hero and see what happens in battle. Your hero with stormbow will run forward to a closer range while you are shooting at longbow range. Pucktrapper 05:25, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

- Mine are recurve bows, I can hit the Recurve target from within the circle, but if I attack the longbow target, my character steps forward a few steps. This happens on both bows. I guess you can get them in all types? Cavalier 13:36, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
- I just noticed the screenshot from SCobra, so I double checked. If I select my Ascalon Recurve bow, my character takes another few steps. It has the same range as my Ironwing Longbow, so it probably is a longbow. Cavalier 13:41, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
- perhaps you are all wrong and they spawn in all the various forms? i have two myself and yes equiping them does make me change range. my gold is a longbow and my blue rarity one has what i beleive is recurve range. so mayhap they come in different forms?
- I am certain that mine used to say HORNBOW, now it says longbow, but testing reveals it still shoots from Horn range with horn speed (am too stupid to confirm innate armor penetration). Axlbert 10:06, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
