LOL, this skill got owned so badly--Justice 06:18, 15 May 2009 (UTC)

Wow ANet... thank you VERY much for taking the ONLY farm i can actually do away from me. thanks a WHOLE EFFING LOT! way to keep the rich rich and the poor poor. jackasses --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.166.219.88 (talk).

ummmm please ignore the above statement.. next time i will try to read the WHOLE skill name and not just the first part.... >.> --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.166.219.88 (talk).
It's pretty much a maintained weaker version of Signet of Strength now.(marsc 15:20, 15 May 2009 (UTC))
and it sucks moar, stop nerfing skills, and fix the root of the problems, but to do that you actually have to OBSERVE&PLAY your own damn game. Annoying And Deadly
Okay I don't usually comment on stuff like this, but this nerf is WAY overdone. Seriously, Smiter's Booned. No one in their right mind will use this piece of shit now. Jaian Avery 01:01, 16 May 2009 (UTC)
A-Net needs to change the functionality of skills rather than making them worthless. I don't mind if a few builds get nerfed if there's a new skill to play around with. Every time a skill is smited to death, a small child gets punched in the face. <>Sparky, the Tainted 02:00, 16 May 2009 (UTC)
yes but they wont hire new people for gw, when gw2 is so close. that is stupid. Annoying And Deadly

They could have at least tried to balance it by making it change damagetype to Holy or something. Vili 点 User talk:Vili 09:36, 19 May 2009 (UTC)

Its already armor ignoring, changing the type would mean nothing. Maintained enchants that can be cast on other allies are hard to balance simply because you can maintain them on multiple people. More people = More powerful skill. The reason many skills are hard to balance is simply because a team brings multiple copies. balancing between what I think im doing for dmg and what the team thinks they are doing for dmg. what only 15dmg? what crazy 15x3=45 dmg? Unfortunetly even 4x5dmg sucks so bad it makes rurik look like a beast with hundred blades Justice 18:55, 18 June 2009 (UTC)

Umm, only the +bonus damage is armor ignoring. Changing the weapon's base damagetype to Holy would be the same as using Heart of Holy Flame (or Avatar of Balthazar), effectively lowering the enemy's armor by as much as 30 (an axe versus a Warrior with a +slashing shield, for instance; or a Fiery weapon versus a Ranger), which equates to more than 25% additional base weapon damage. That is pretty significant on a critical hit or with big-damage weapons such as scythes. You would lose out on things like Conjures, but conversely you would be saving attribute points. WHOOPING 4 DOMOGE[edit]

HAWT, wats with the 25e cost+90sec recharge tho? - Wuhy 86.101.134.142 09:23, 19 May 2009 (UTC)

no more two monk teams in ta![edit]

im so happy that people stopped taking two monks in ta now but they just need to make ritualists worse too before people start doing that again Burning Babies 11:58, 20 May 2009 (UTC)

Make Ritualists worse? Oh, please. Mediggo 12:03, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
have you ever played against those ritualists who just spam life stealing weapons? those are too good Burning Babies 12:15, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
Of course I have, and I know it's annoying, but there's a million other ways to do one's game difficult. In this case, nerfing whole Ritualist profession (your own words) because of two two/three skills is not a good idea. Mediggo 12:18, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
they nerfed smiters a lot and those guys are like smiters. healing and damage Burning Babies 12:21, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
Problem with nerfing it is... after smiting gets bad, monks can go back to healing prayers and protection prayers, both of which are excellent lines in their own right. After the 2/3 useful rit skills get nerfed into the ground, what is the class going to fall back on? Communing, with over-priced useless spirits? Channeling, with mostly weak skills that lack utility whatsoever, and thus will never see the light of day in competitive play? :/ Nerfing those 2 or 3 rit skills means a lot more than nerfing just 2 or 3 skills, it risks putting them out of play entirely. -Auron 12:25, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
Funny thing about nerfing smiting is, that RoJ isn't nerfed regardless of community's demands. Mediggo 12:30, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
since when did anyone give a shit about the community's demands? the community can suggest and give feedback based on gameplay experience, but only the idiots "demand." -Auron 12:39, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
Demand, feedback, suggestions... any of them. Mediggo 12:51, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
i didnt demand anything. im not like those dicks on izzy's pages Burning Babies 12:54, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
Nuff said. :P Mediggo 13:25, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
I don't think a weapon spamming rit carries stances like a monk... If that is true, then they would make an easy target for an assassin. I've seen several Vengeful/Xinrae's/Remedy weapon spamming rits, but none with stances yet. <>Sparky, the Tainted 13:47, 10 June 2009 (UTC)

Thats because they want you to hit them... Justice 18:48, 18 June 2009 (UTC)
