Huge group of mobs revisited[edit]

First it was Pockmark Flats and now here. What is it with prophecies areas and having GIANT groups of mobs that are extremely unfair to deal with? In case it's not obvious, I'm talking about the huge group of stone summit and dolyaks in the middle of the map, and as if that wasn't bad enough you can easily aggro ANOTHER huge group of mobs above or below you because the game is stupid and you're guaranteed to get skullfucked at that point. To add insult to injury you only get 50 copper coins for vanquishing the area. Pjwned 22:39, 29 April 2011 (UTC)

Because Prophecies wasn't balanced with the idea of Hard Mode and when Hard Mode was created they didn't bother altering spawns. -- Konig/talk 22:52, 29 April 2011 (UTC)
Be that as it may, it doesn't explain why ANet thinks Tasca's and Pockmark deserve only Tier 1 rewards. These are among the most challenging of Prophecies' vanquishes and their ZV's deserve higher rewards. (I note that Icedome gets a Tier 3 reward even though the vanquish is comparable to Tasca's.) --Valshia 23:03, 29 April 2011 (UTC)

Tascas and icedome dont deserve 250 but yeah 150 would be fair. Pockmark flats deserved 150 aswell, but its certainly not a challenging vanquish. 50 coppers is a joke since 5min bosses get 70 coppers. The zones worth 50 copper are pretty limited making that tier wtfish anyhow. Justice 07:10, 30 April 2011 (UTC)
This area can be rolled with caster spike - 3 necros (your choice - Discord or Sabway fine), two mesmers (one Dom/Panic and I usually use Shared Burden/Illusion hexes on the other), two Ritualists (one SoS, the other your choice - I usually go Soul Twisting prot/heal out of habit, but a Signet of Ghostly Might Rit is probably fine for here) and you. ~25 minutes with wall scraping, 106 foes including Avicari and hardly anyone even took any damage (aggroed the entire central base, too - Panic and Shared burden often makes mass aggro amusing rather than frustrating). --Falseprophet 20:40, 12 September 2011 (UTC)
