Deletion[edit]

I feel this is the best way to document the War in Kryta content on an ongoing basis. Adding this information to the main explorable pages would simply be cluttered, confusing and messy. I'm sorry you can't see that Backsword, but I would prefer you simply add your argument to the discussion already ongoing rather than adding deletion tags to these pages. -- Wyn User Wynthyst sig icon2.png talk 16:21, 23 April 2010 (UTC)

If we document this as a permanent addition and it makes the articles a mess (which I'm not convinced of. Not compared to many existing pages), then there are still amny other alternative for dividing up the info which doesn't involv lying to players and inventing things that are not actually in the game, which plainly contradicts the purpose of the wiki. And I would prefer if you didn't create these pages in the first place. Backsword 16:40, 23 April 2010 (UTC)
Well, there are many, many things that you do on this wiki that I would prefer you didn't. -- Wyn User Wynthyst sig icon2.png talk 16:42, 23 April 2010 (UTC)
Aren't there a bunch of historic quests and events documented in the wiki that are not actually present in the game anymore (and will not be in the future)? By the above arguments, all those pages would have to be deleted also. Luxon/Kurzick camps in Prophecies, and associated quests come to mind. Even Gaile's farewell event was a non-recurring event, certainly not permanent, yet it is documented.
I'm a little confused. How is describing War in Kryta events lying to players?
For the record, my opinion is that documenting historical events is very useful, and adds to the richness of the game. Otherwise, this would be quite the terse and sterile place to go for information. 66.170.212.17 20:57, 23 April 2010 (UTC)
Non of those were fanmade, and should all be clearly marked as historical. Backsword 20:58, 23 April 2010 (UTC)
I guess I'm a little dense, or am missing something in this debate, so apologies for harping on this. What part of the War in Kryta encounters is fan-made? 66.170.212.17 21:02, 23 April 2010 (UTC)
The part where they take place in new locations. You're welcome to identify yoursefl, btw. Backsword 21:10, 23 April 2010 (UTC)
There is NOTHING on this page that says they are in a NEW location. It says this is in ADDITION to the normal content if you have completed the requirements. -- Wyn User Wynthyst sig icon2.png talk 10:40, 25 April 2010 (UTC)
I don't agree with the deletion, even if it's not permanent it can easily just be moved to Historical content.--Mari Rose 19:36, 25 April 2010 (UTC)
Wyn: You are formatting this page in the same manner as Talmark Wilderness (War in Kryta), which is actually a separate instance. By treating this in the same way as that, you are implying that there is a special War in Kryta instance of the Black Curtain, which is simply not true. And Mari: Linsey stated at MantleCon that additions to the game as part of Beyond will be permanent. --Santax (talk · contribs) 19:46, 25 April 2010 (UTC)
No, there are no dat id numbers on either. and yes, they are formatted the same because they all contain nothing but the War in Kryta content for those areas. There is nothing, I repeat NOTHING, on either that indicates they are new areas, in point of fact, it can easily be resolved by including the new id number on the Talmark page, and leaving the original id number on the rest. That is the very least of the issues, the primary issue is how to easily, and clearly provide information on the new content for those people who meet the requirements, without creating a mess, and confusing the people who don't. As far as I'm concerned your complete obsession with these id numbers is really ridiculous. This is about organization of data for ease of understanding by the readers. -- Wyn User Wynthyst sig icon2.png talk 20:23, 25 April 2010 (UTC)
And you've yet to convince me how splitting content up into a million little pages makes anything less confusing. All I'm doing is following the formatting guidelines, it's your obsession with documenting some details on one page and others on other pages for the same explorable area which is confusing. We're not splitting up the Hall of Monuments, or the Underworld, so why split up these? --Santax (talk · contribs) 20:38, 25 April 2010 (UTC)

I ran into Greves the Overbearing outside of his normal dialog. I added him as a boss and captured Shove from him Joedog2112 02:28, 23 May 2010 (UTC)
