Completing the bonus mission is not required to get credit in the book.

Let me get these straight... if it werent for the wiki we wouldn't know what missions to do?--ShadowFog 04:08, 14 November 2008 (UTC)

Well, the patch info kinda already tells you that it starts on Lion's Arch, so if you have followed the storyline of Prophecies you would know already that it means "from D'Alessio Seaboard onwards".--Fighterdoken 04:34, 14 November 2008 (UTC)

This page should be reformatted to match the pages for Hero's Handbook and Master Dungeon Guide Robert Batchelor 04:36, 14 November 2008 (UTC)

I have the Augury Rock page page 11(Sparky Sharkinu 06:12, 14 November 2008 (UTC))

Do we need to redo mission if we already completed them? Nicoli20 06:19, 14 November 2008 (UTC)

Yes 24.242.27.113 06:41, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
Yes, and it's a pain -_- Rolain1 08:19, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
You gotta be kidding me... I just got my legendary guardian this week... 88.131.17.7009:30, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
Should be easy for you to complete all missions a second time then :P --Arduinna talk 10:49, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, at least I don't have to do the bonuses. Nicoli20 12:19, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
It's kinda nice even for old timers. The books are slowly filling up for me because I sometimes play through again to help friends. Nice side benefit for being helpful. Pendaran 21:08, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
So this book only give exp and gold? Not really worth all the effort to take my characters back through just for exp and gold. I guess it's good for people that haven't finished prophecies yet.--BabyJ 15:10, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
I'm in complete agreement. I'll do them on my main because I like to do everything with him but my other toons who are done won't be touching these. --Kousei Doragon 15:38, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
The other books reward faction and title points, so more applicable for them I guess. Rolain1 01:24, 17 November 2008 (UTC)

Rewards Scaling and Commentary[edit]

Is the language about the book being "... useless since Augury Rock gives 50,000xp..." necessary? 24.188.207.20 06:22, 14 November 2008 (UTC)

I was reading this, too, it just gives exp. That's kind of worthless. Maybe not so much to prophecies-only, pre-20 characters but after that, who gives a shit?-- User Vanguard VanguardLogo.pnganguard 16:20, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
I suppose it could make the climb to Survivor a little shorter.
There is also the gold reward tied to the books, so it's not exactly worthless. --Wyn's Talk page Wyn 19:48, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
Finished in normal mode. 8000 gold and 80000 exp. Laserblasto! 20:40, 14 November 2008 (UTC)

Only the Hard Mode book makes a bit of sense, quite a few people havent finished Guardian Title, so this gives an added bonus when you do.
8k to do a couple missions? thats not a bad Hussle. wish i knew about this...68.26.45.150 13:54, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
Well, not just a couple missions (18) ;p However, they aren't terribly difficult with H/H, even the later ones. My survivor has done them twice, since the book update, and loves the extra relatively simple 160000xp. She may just do them again!
The real question is whether there is a limit to the number of times of Normal Mode completion. 76.30.79.54 21:52, 10 January 2009 (UTC)
I don't think there is a limit, really. WhyUser talk:Why Are We Fighting 00:16, 11 January 2009 (UTC)

Text Errors in the Book[edit]

A place to put spelling errors, grammar errors and typos that appear in the text of the book.

Bloodstone Fen - it reads "the Chosen were destined take part in", when it should probably read "the Chosen were destined to take part in".

Hell's Precipice - it reads "My task are complete." It should probably read either "My task is complete." or "My tasks are complete."--Ceru talk 08:04, 15 November 2008 (UTC)

let's leave it like that. It's reminiscent of "all your base" :D 65.40.196.108

Disambiguation[edit]

Is needed for this and the other page. I'd imagine this is probably what most people are going to be searching for, so maybe make this the primary redirect? 128.255.195.20 05:39, 18 November 2008 (UTC)

Done. -- User Gordon Ecker sig.png Gordon Ecker (talk) 09:51, 18 November 2008 (UTC)

Buying Pages[edit]

"You can't buy the pages retroactively. " This note is there but the article doesn't mention anything about buying pages. Can pages be even bought?--ShadowFog 19:24, 18 November 2008 (UTC)

Yes, if you do a mission (after the update with the books) then you can pay 100g to get that mission placed in your book. --72.187.144.16 19:27, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
That information isn't added anywhere and since I've lack expirience in buying pages, that information should be added at the Storybook page. By now that note without providing information on how to buy pages doesn't make sense. Hence, can anyone put up the information regarding buying pages in the Storybook section? Thanks.--ShadowFog 19:36, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
Are your fingers broken? --Wyn's Talk page Wyn 20:17, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
(Laughs)No Wynthist...I haven't bought any kind of pages yet! Any info I type might be innacurate compare to someone that has bought pages.--ShadowFog 20:22, 18 November 2008 (UTC)

I just did a bunch of Proph missions (NM) on my Dervish about 2 months ago and forgot to have my book in my inventory for 2 of them. I tried to get the NPC to fill in the pages but there is no option, however there is one for my HM book.Any reason for this? --Elandriel M 16:42, 28 April 2009 (UTC)

I just did ring of fire about 2 weeks ago and forgot my book but he will not let me pay to add it into the book like wtf is he prejudice against women chars or somethin? i dont wanna do that mish again in HM. why wont he update my book for me? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:216.96.19.7 (talk).

I did all missions for this book in the past six months, got a book but he wont let me add any of them 24.188.207.20 03:35, 20 July 2009 (UTC)

I have the same issue with a monk I have built and missioned out to Lions Arch in the last 2 weeks and a fighter that has beaten the story arch in the last 6 months. It wont let be buy any ages for either player

From the people above and my own experiences it would seem there is a time limit to buy missing pages --User Tenri My image.jpg Tenri 00:16, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
Has anyone confirmed this? I've beaten quite a few of these missions very recently and I can't buy the pages. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 99.28.221.67 (talk).
Confirmed by Linsey: "If you do not do ANY mission in that campaign for a month, it will reset. So if you go do Arborstone without your book and then not play for 2 months, you won't be able to fill that page retroactively. If you did Arborstone without your book and then did Unwaking Waters 3 weeks later, you should be fine for another month." --Silver Edge 01:42, 18 August 2009 (UTC)
wtf i did 5 mision (ruins, academy, fort, nothern wall and gates of kryta) in hm (with my ritualist) with the book in my inventary and i dont got any page. bug????. They were added to young heros but not to flameseeker, --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 189.139.82.243 (talk).
Wrong book. And please sign your comments. -- FreedomBoundUser Freedom Bound Sig.png 19:34, 3 September 2009 (UTC)
It may be important to note that, despite being able to have more than one book in your inventory, doing a mission will only fill the page for the first book in your inventory. If it's present on another book's page, it should be included here as well. Donlik 06:28, 13 August 2012 (UTC)
