This is essentially a duplicate of this List of touch skills. Both appear in Category:Lists of skills as well. - 68.97.132.83 03:05, 25 October 2007 (UTC)

Ya, it's the exact same table. In the coding, there is {{:List of touch skills}} which takes all info from List of Touch skills and puts it on Touch skills.--§ Eloc § 03:42, 25 October 2007 (UTC)

Tease?[edit]

Although I haven't ever used Tease, the description seems to make it unfitting for this list. It doesn't say touch anywhere (concise or not). Anybody who has it unlocked want to check up on that? He Who Likes Arrows 21:57, 14 September 2008 (UTC)

Cant touch this[edit]

Should be mentioned as a skill that prevents touches... MrPaladin talk 12:37, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

Tryptophan Signet[edit]

Why is this in the list? The description has no evidence of it being a touch skill, nor does its skill type. Bozzie 16:31, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

The category wasn't removed from the skill page after the update, so I did that now. --67.240.83.137 16:42, 27 June 2009 (UTC)

You forgot Touch of Agony. Thought you should know. 98.112.230.67 10:55, 28 July 2010 (UTC)

A Touch Of Guile[edit]

Concise description lists as "Touch Hex Spell." Personally tested, and energy cost is reduced by Expertise. Please add. -game user Mendicant Ai, 21:34, 2 May 2011 (UTC)

Expertise reduces the cost of touch spells. — Raine Valen User Raine R.gif 21:39, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
No, I meant as in add A Touch of Guile to the list to this page. The skill was omitted. Mendicant Ai, 21:44, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
The wikicode producing it looked at category=touch skills, but AToF is considered to be category=hex spell; I repointed the code to look at category=touch range skills, which covers the small number of skills that aren't classified as touch.  — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 22:21, 2 May 2011 (UTC)

Split[edit]

  1. Type: Skills that has the Touch skill type keyword in its concised description (or should have in the case of Blood Ritual).
  2. Range: Skills that effectively uses the Touch Range; regardless of any contradictions of what type, its description, or other factors (as with Spear Swipe).
--Falconeye 20:38, 28 August 2011 (UTC)
I dunno man, no one is going to search for "touch ranged skill" since the common usage is just "touch skill" regardless of what it is. Maybe there should just be a separation in this article between things that are definitely called "touch skill" (like Vampiric Touch) and things that are "effectively touch ranged" as with Spear Swipe or Signet of Midnight. Currently there are two categories, Category:Touch ranged skills and Category:Touch skills, which is kind of redundant since most of the skills are in both categories. 76.78.119.108 20:56, 28 August 2011 (UTC)
Why are skills being considered different skill types based off of the concise description? A touch spell is a spell with a requirement of touch range, not another skill type. Mora 23:02, 28 August 2011 (UTC)
Absolutely against a split; these aren't two ideas that need the same article name. Touch skill is a specific type of skill. Spear Swipe has its own well-defined skill type (spear attack); it just happens to be a rare case of not being a melee attack — we don't need to split the article for the few skills for which that might be true. – Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 17:45, 29 August 2011 (UTC)
Going to have to agree with the others. Keep them the same ||-- ChaosBurst 00:18, 3 October 2011

adjacent range[edit]

Touch skills have slightly less range than adjacent... 86.746987951% to be exact, but I doubt anyone wants to be that exact. Is "slightly closer than" okay? Mist Y (talk) 23:33, 7 August 2020 (UTC)
