My own theory, is that somehow the additional reward point system is bugged and that it depends on how many in total people participate with the tournament. I noticed this during GvG. GvG is usually on 1 page only, than the additional reward point system works. One time we got additional reward points when we shouldn't get them, at that moment there were a lot of participants in the GvG tourney and there were 2 pages for the GvG tournament. For example you get 6 pages of people in HvH. That makes 6*64 people=384 people. 25% of 384 = 96. And than the bug starts working, because every page has 64 people they all get additional reward points. I am not sure if what I stated is correct, it is just my theorie. Not sure if this is the place to whine, but it currently looks extremely difficult to get reward points. There's only a small niche of PvPers that do HB competitively, and many people wouldn't want to leave their guilds to do GvG. This research is old and based upon the old ladder system where there was a maximum of 64 players for HvH and 32 for GvG this how now changed. Arenanet has also released the formula for calculating the additional reward points. There is still something strange with the calculation, but for more information about this at the article page.

"In daily GvG tournaments, a guild is rewarded 3 points for each win." is what the article says right now, but the table says 2. Which is it?--Xapti 21:54, 25 July 2007 (UTC)

First off, I'd like to wish you a happy holiday season! Anyways, I, and many others, are having problems receiving our Tournament Reward Points. I should have earned 75 points, but the NPC won't give me any. I've earned points before on this account, so I'm sure the email addresses are the same.There's been a case or two of people getting points when they didn't even predict anything! Ah so I'm not the only 1. I should get some points, don't know how much atm, but instead he's saying Greetings from the Xunlai Tournament House. I can't get my points, but its April 29, 2008 now, and guildwars.com said they would be available on April 28, so I'm confused. --Risus 21:49, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

• 342 people divided over 3 pages, ended 13th of the 114 people with 5 wins and 2 losses
• Number of winners (25% of 114) = 29
• rank of each winner = 13
• maximum tournament reward points = 20

You will receive 12+5+5=22 tournament reward points.

You need 20 Basic armor to get access to Fancy armor, that is 1000 TRP. Then there are 3500 TRP left to get Fancy armor: That are 70 pieces of Fancy armor! Or 17.5 pieces of Obsidian! Or 46.6 pieces of Luxon, Kurzick or Vaabian! --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:84.56.232.23 .
