Norn? I don't think so. Giant, maybe. User:Kainui

I know that. He should be a man, as a elonian hero, but in regard of his height and skill giant stomp, i wrote norn instead :p But of course he's not a real norn, as he don't have the metamorphosis. I wrote it because i found it amusing, and not so false, but don't worry, i agree to see him classified as a human ^^

He is just a towering human, just like Shiro or the Guild Lord. Huge humans are all probably elated to norn, but it seems you have to add some animal totem stuff to get a Norn. MithUser MithranArkanere Star.pngTalk 13:28, 9 June 2009 (UTC)
Well, I would never assume that all Norn can always transform into avatars of their spirits no matter where they go. In EotN, we only ever saw a Norn transform into half-bears when they were in their own territory, where the Strength of the Norn bonus would be active. it is fully possible - because the Strength of the Norn doesn't give you any bonus in Elona - that Turai is a true Norn, but he cannot turn into a half-bear because the Bear Spirit does not watch over the Elonian sands. Aside from being seen as a half-bear, he fits all other norn standards: He's taller than other humans, very strong, valiant, and he's a leader (the Norn don't seem to believe in following orders. Varesh displayed this, too). My point is, do not discount anything. Arena.Net has some creative leeway here. - Ara ~ A R A ~ 21:41, 17 June 2009 (UTC)

I have a technical question here. How did Turai Ossa cross the Desolation and not get killed ? Was it not Sulphurous at the time he crossed it, or did he master the Junundu ? SmegEd 22:04, 4 September 2009 (UTC)

"but Ascension eluded him. Instead of everlasting life, he found the torment of eternal living death. In ghostly form, he still walks the earth. Many of his followers died as well, and their ghosts have remained in the Crystal Desert." I'm guessing the reason why he failed his Ascension would be those very sulfurus wastes. It isn't told in what state he crossed the Desolation, dead or alive. BlazeRick 02:59, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
The Desolation has been growing over the centuries, see the outpost description for Ruins of Morah. -- User Gordon Ecker sig.png Gordon Ecker (talk) 05:12, 8 November 2009 (UTC)

The ghostly hero in Amnoon Oasis identifies himself as Turai Ossa, should this not be mentioned in the article? I see no link to Turai from the ghostly hero dialouge on that page and no link here to a ghostly hero. --83.243.139.184 15:01, 28 October 2010 (UTC)
