Drop research[edit]

Urgoz drops things. I'm gonna edit the page vaguely, but it's not like I'm going to research Urgoz solo. Anyone who gets drops, please post in the name of geekdom. (Sorry for crappy formatting, feel free to edit if it pains your eyes.) --Kyoshi 03:58, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

well dont just stand there, pick up the wooden buckler! 70.135.104.185 18:29, 21 August 2009 (UTC)

Urgy holding a Fellblade[edit]

I didnt screen it unfortunately, but when i was fighting urgoz with my previous alliance he was holding a fellblade instead of his bow and he attacked normally. Did anyone else ever see him hold something else? DemonicFahrir 10:41, 24 August 2010 (UTC)

I've seen him wielding a Fiery Dragon Sword. Had a screen of it on my old computer, not sure if it survived the transfer... 188.123.28.41 13:54, 5 October 2011 (UTC)

Size[edit]

How big is Urgoz compared to a human? i have never gotten up to him because of the freakin Thorn Wolves. i would imagine him being bigger then say an Island Guardian, possibly as big as....the Big Boss robot thing in Furnace of Sorrows. 71.109.112.157 01:49, 22 September 2010 (UTC) GasMaster

Should be about that size, yes. I'd say he is at least as high as 5 characters standing on top of each other. 82.67.64.8 23:51, 29 September 2010 (UTC)

Killing Urgoz NM H/H[edit]

Trying to beat Urgoz NM with 2 friends. We have Ranger (Sos) Derv and Monk, a slew of necro heroes and some eles. We mow through the whole dungeon but can't kill Urgoz. 1. Anyone have a screenshot of where to place EoE? 2. Getting his health down: we've been unable before the heroes explode to do any significant damage. Does he have natural regeneration? How much? 3. Thanks! 68.194.95.66 04:34, 24 January 2011 (UTC)

A good spot to place EoE is inside the middle door on the way down the slope, but where the road juts off to the left a little. Stick to the left going down the slope until it stops you and place it there. Anyone with EoE should stay in that spot, unmoving. The thorn bombers very rarely spawn there. Unfortunately, I didn't think to take a screenshot when I was there. Maybe next time. Teddy Dan, yo. 19:17, 7 April 2011 (UTC)
Me and a friend went without reading anything so we didn't have EoE, what we did was flag all our 10 heroes on the ramp in a position where Urgoz could attack then but no growths would spawn (this was to keep Urgoz distracted), then he (Ineptitude mesmer) would run around the map dealing damage to Urgoz and Me (DS/SY warrior) would run in and spam DS untill there were 3 growths next to me, then I knew it was time to leave or go to the other side of urgoz to avoid explosions. If I saw my friend had Urgoz agro I would use SY to keep him alive long enough to run back to the hero healers, it took about 3 to 5 minutes but I guess if the human players can deal enough damage to overcome his regen then he is beatable by any build, you can also do this to get him bellow 90% so EoE can kill him. 187.10.116.61 18:50, 7 October 2011 (UTC)
I would just run an Echo/Arcane Echo/Chaos Storm Mesmer or two (Two if you have more than one person.), he can't move to get out of it, so it works pretty well. Can be used on Serpents, and to 'cause things to scatter off of your party if need be. Wilhelm Maverick 19:57, 26 September 2012 (UTC)

main page looks weird[edit]

Using Firefox, the Urgoz page looks a bit askew. Steve1 (talk) 19:02, 5 March 2019 (UTC)

its also like this on chrome. its as if the page is zoomed out. and ONLY this pgage. i checked and am at the same zoom percent on 2 pages but urgoz's is still zoomed out more. this is very weird. Shade the (talk) 19:32, 5 March 2019 (UTC)
the page references being removed fixed the page. not sure what that means. the troubled text was as follows: <ref name="Prima">''Factions Prima Guide'', pg. 156-157</ref> and <ref name="Prima">''Factions Prima Guide'', pg. 156-157</ref> Shade the (talk) 19:49, 5 March 2019 (UTC)
LOL now it screwed up the discussion page! XD Shade the (talk) 19:53, 5 March 2019 (UTC)
Ace! Nice job.
Good grief, yes it is. Steve1 (talk) 22:04, 5 March 2019 (UTC)
Okay i fixed it now, to show the text without it being coded it, so the question now is, why does this text do this?? Shade the (talk) 22:23, 5 March 2019 (UTC)

Believed by some, such as Dunmel Gorhopf's family, to have died to the Jade Wind,[edit]

from the introduction - where do we have that info from? There is only one Gorhopf family member (Dunmel), and he doesn't mention Urgoz in his Dialogue- And neither does his dialogue for Wicked Wardens. Steve1 (talk) 11:40, 31 January 2024 (UTC)

Vash, stumbled over it htatnks to he gw2wiki :D Steve1 (talk) 11:46, 31 January 2024 (UTC)
