Should we add a note saying that the life stolen ignores armor and can't be reduced? or can it be reduced by things like Life Sheath? Also, maybe a note that this mod can only appear on rare (gold) items, so it can't drop in pre-searing? Avatarian86 13:23, 2 April 2007 (EDT)

[edit] cleanup

i see a notice for cleanup, but Guild_Wars_Wiki:Formatting doesn't seem to say anything about weapon prefixes as they are attributes of a weapon upgrade and not items themselves. the upgrade items already have articles. so what actually needs to be cleaned up here? --VVong|BA 20:58, 21 November 2007 (UTC)

i don't think it needs to be cleaned up, it contains all the information needed by somebody wondering about vampiric weapons Thehockeydude44 04:06, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Health below Zero/Endure Pain -> death?

I'm not really a use of vampiric upgrades, but currently I'm trying one - it seems to me that quite often I die when my health is technically below zero(as in using Endure Pain to gain more health for a while). Once the skill ends or I switch weapon, I die. If this intended(which I guess it is), then perhaps a note should be added?--Cp 20:07, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Vampiric + Flurry (-25% damage)

Now, will the vampiring upgrade of -5 be decreased w/ a skill, say Flurry which deals 25% less damage. (or = 3.75hp per hit stolen?) --Czar 21:45, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

Life Stealing is no damage BlazeRick 11:54, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Mending? Succor?

What's with that note? It's obvious and promotes Whammo's. BlazeRick 11:53, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

What's wrong with Whammo's? It's a very good beginner class. And then you graduate o something useful, but still... - Vik 21:31, 15 June 2008 (UTC)
Nothing's wrong with a Wammo. If you've got a good Warrior build that doesn't require a set secondary, going /monk for a good resurection skill is never a bad idea. As per Mending, also works great on an assassin, who has more than enough energy regen, counting critical strikes. Mending also works great for your friendly neighborhood Dervish, who gets a lot less out of the upgrade if they aren't hitting more than 1 target. Not nearly as good as a quick weapon swap, but still an option.72.161.115.13 17:12, 17 February 2009 (UTC)

[edit] 11 degen?

It doesnt say this on the page n i havnt had the time to research this yet but does a vamp weapon cause 11 degen? thanks --ChuckieReturns2 17:14, 20 July 2009 (UTC)

Any degeneration beyond 10 is not possible (except for "hidden degeneration" on minions, I believe.) However any degeneration beyond 10 will act to counter regeneration. So let's say that you had 15 degeneration from hexes and conditions, if you cast healing breeze on yourself for +5 regeneration, healing breeze would counter 5 of the 15 degeneration, however the remaining 10 degeneration would still exist (the 5 degeneration that wasn't previously available technically now is, but it's just counterracting the regeneration.) A simple answer would've been; "No." ~Ryuu[ Talk|Contributions ] 16:25, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
