Bullshit[edit]

I hereby do not like this change. Vael Victus Pancakes. 16:52, 7 November 2008 (UTC)

I can understand though a good reasoning might've been constructive. I for myself cannot state wether this was too powerful in certain PvP areas or not. However, one thing is certain - that necromancers running blood magic in PvE face huge problems because it is more and more likely that they have to wand between spells (with a bar full of offensive skills [which are still recharging]). Add their relatively bad reputation and you might come to the conclusion that it's dead. Ɲoɕʈɋɽɕɧ 17:17, 7 November 2008 (UTC)
I dunno, Blood magic has ever been very viable as offense compared to curses in PVE and only in rare occasions (the nerf-reason blood spike) in PVP. 76.122.21.219 21:26, 7 November 2008 (UTC)
That's because I don't have a good reason, Noctarch. I used it, and it made my necromancer better, and they put three more seconds on it for PvE for reasons I cannot see, and now I'm sad. Vael Victus Pancakes. 21:34, 7 November 2008 (UTC)
PvE reasons? See ArenaNet:Developer_updates -- specifically: "Although the motivation for these changes is based on PvP balance, we do not believe these changes will have a significant impact on PvE play and have not opted to separate these skills for PvE and PvP." --Nkuvu User Nkuvu sig button.jpg 22:03, 7 November 2008 (UTC)
Typical: "We do not believe". Testing and asking >> assumption. Ɲoɕʈɋɽɕɧ 22:38, 7 November 2008 (UTC)
The updates to this and Angorodon's Gaze suck. I don't do PvP, and in PvE I've never used anything except blood magic because unlike the common builds, despite being arguably weaker than them, I have fun with blood magic. These increased recharge times have just about killed the fun of my necro builds.68.9.183.54 20:06, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
Yeap, same. I just don't see why they couldn't make it PvP-only for a change. :( Vael Victus Pancakes. 05:46, 9 November 2008 (UTC)

Always knew that blood magic spikes were to powerful in PvE lol.William Wallace 19:33, 9 November 2008 (UTC)

Its simple it really is ... they're nerfing every skill in GW for players to run into GW2 for some un-nerfed skills.
The only good thing about blood magic in PvE was Spoil Victor on bosses. Blood builds just did not kick compared to MMs or Curse Necros. Were blood spikes really that powerful and game breaking in PvP? Oh my. As usual, they make skills basically so bad that they are out of the game instead of giving them a reason to exist at all. --Longasc 00:30, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
Well let's see, about an 800 damage life stealing unprottable and mostly uninfusable spike in PvP. Not broken, right? Oh, also, infuse isn't self-targetting, so bspike infuse = gg owned.
Uhm sir, you are totally wrong, I actually remember feeling cheap for choosing blood magic. Direct damage that I suck up into health, + 13 energy a kill from soul reaping. lrn2unholy feast? Vael Victus Pancakes. 19:57, 21 December 2008 (UTC)

I love this[edit]

Oh the nostalgia of having this skill in Prophecies. --Eclipse143 05:08, 19 November 2011 (UTC)
