V`s Aura = |
V`s gaze =

They both suck ~ SCobraUser-SuperCobra-Sig.png 19:47, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

Verata's Aura is ammusing in AB and on occasion FA. Verata's Gaze is an AI only skill like Death Nova is since humans cant target minions that effectively.--Justice 05:47, 16 February 2009 (UTC)

I believe there is an anomaly or bug with Verata's Gaze. Although not said in the description, the caster "sacrifices" 0% of their health, thus triggering skills like Masochism and Dark Aura. Can anyone else confirm this? 24.149.75.105 23:02, 4 June 2009 (UTC)

All of Verata's spells (Aura, Gaze and Sacrifice) are available also in Droknar's Forge; feel free to add that to the list of skill trainers.

It could have just been the build I was using, but heroes (Olias on guard) seem to give this skill a low priority. After watching him while vanquishing Tangle Root (moss scarabs with verata's gaze), it seems like they prefer to make new minions instead of gazing there stolen ones. He only used this skill when there were no corpses yet to exploit and when there was nothing else for him to do (and since he had blood ritual, that wasn't often). 152.7.14.158 19:29, 11 December 2010 (UTC)Nova

Negative Effects[edit]

As I understand it, positive effects (for your team) on your minions, such as the exampled Death Nova and Dwayna's Sorrow, persist even if it is stolen, but how about negative effects on enemy minions that you steal? For instance you cast Icy Veins on an enemy minion, steal it, and then it dies. Based on the notes I would think that the secondary effect would still damage the opposition, but it's not clear. can't cast on allied minions[edit]

The concise description doesn't mention this, but the full one does. Worth a note? Mist Y (talk) 06:05, 13 April 2018 (UTC)

Bugguest skill of all time[edit]

So I dont want to keep making edit after edit, so I will simply post things I find here. It almost seems completely RNG if the minion will follow you or not when 1 on 1, but I discovered if you turn it hostile and then gaze it as soon as it is being summoned it will follow you, but if you wait a second, it follows its creator. Please tell me how the hell this is coded to function like this? Also I dont know how to even begin adding this to its bugs. Shade the (talk) 22:20, 7 May 2020 (UTC)
