First Trivia Note[edit]

Which dialogue does Verata say to be able to suppose this trivia? —ZerphatalkThe Improver 00:00, 27 October 2007 (UTC)

I think they mean Barada->Verata. Don't know where they got it from. Backsword 00:11, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
the only thing on the page its linked to about Guild Wars is: "In the video game Guild Wars: Nightfall, characters who are under the influence of a Lunar Blessing's "Spiritual Possession" effect may mutter the phrase at random." which has nothing to do with this NPC and the closest thing on the entire wiki page to "Verata" is: "Bob and George once again uses variations on the phrase, first to revive George and then to summon a taco. It is worth noting, however, that neither is actually "Klaatu Barada Nikto"; both phrases use "Klatu" instead of "Klaatu" and "Verada" instead of "Barada," and the second uses "Taco" in the place of "Nikto"." which has nothing to do with Guild Wars but the wording is closer to Verata than Barada. --81.159.107.219 17:08, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

Could it be possible Verata's name comes from the vetala - a vampire-like entity from Hindu mythology that inhabits corpses? Troal 22:39, 3 January 2008 (UTC)

How about the fact that, in the movie "Army of Darkness", Ash has to recite the words "Klaatu Verada Nectu" before picking up the Necronomicon - the Book of the Dead - to prevent an undead horde from rising against him? Also seems like something that would relate to a power-hungry necromancer to me... 85.83.14.189 17:21, 7 May 2009 (UTC)

Verata skillz[edit]

I think this is the boss with most skills named after him. Talon has Silverwing Slash, Bonetti has Bonetti's Defense and this guy has 3 skills. Ninjas In The Sky 11:32, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

Teinai has 4 skills (Teinai's Crystals, Heat, Wind and Prison) named after her to.. but they are duplicates. Koen 16:57, 23 June 2008 (UTC)

Trivia on trivia:This guy lost a fourth skill in beta. Backsword 17:02, 23 June 2008 (UTC)

Maybe edit the note? I'm new here so I know pretty sure I'll ruin the whole article. Can anyone else do it? Koen 17:09, 23 June 2008 (UTC)

Dfon't worry, even if you mess up, it's easy to fix with the wiki's inherrent tools. If you see something that needs improving, it's better to try, since at the very worse, it creates somthing to improve upon. Backsword 17:14, 23 June 2008 (UTC)

I edited it a bit (added the part about Verata's Promise). Is it good this way? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by -Koen- (talk • contribs) at 17:22 23 June 2008 (UTC).

Doesn't Appear?[edit]

I beg to differ, villany of gralath was a bastard to complete because both Verata and Gralath were occupying the top of the hill, with a few dozen cult members around them (suffice it to say, I rushed the hill and died after killing Gralath and stealing one of his skillz.) I assume this is a bug of some sort, but thought you should no. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 72.138.95.59 (talk • contribs) at 11:41 13 August 2008 (UTC).

Verata does appear[edit]

On the Verata Page says that he does not appear when the quest of Galarth is active this is not true. He does spawn the spawn of hist cult is less but he spawns. Cult Mephisto 22:38, 29 November 2008 (UTC)

Nope. I've tried it today. Travelled the whole way to cap his skills. He wasn't there. Pudding 18:15, 23 December 2008 (UTC)

Where do the monk, warrior, and elementalist response quotes come from?[edit]

Since Verata only appears for necromancers (According to the page and as far as I know)98.212.195.171 00:08, 20 December 2008 (UTC)

If you take another player out with you in pre-searing and they're of a different profession, both trainers will spawn and they'll have a chat with each other. --Jette 17:47, 28 December 2008 (UTC)

Not staff attacking?[edit]

dead?[edit]

ok so i understand u kill him in past searing ascalon but then he returns in kessex peak?! --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 83.81.24.86 (talk • contribs) at 16:40 7 June 2010 (UTC).

I've added a note both to his main page and to the quest where you kill him. That's weird, good spotting! Also, please sign your posts. | 72 User Seventy two Truly Random.jpg | 18:16, 7 June 2010 (UTC)
You don't kill him in Renegade Necromancer, you kill his minions. He is meant to escape through the Traveler's Vale portal. --Valentein 18:17, 7 June 2010 (UTC)
That would explain why it wasn't noted before. Thanks. Undoing my edits | 72 User Seventy two Truly Random.jpg | 20:34, 7 June 2010 (UTC)
