Reward[edit]

4 supplies if completed on HM...

500 gold...

you can better just do some courier runs or is that just me? Sjacie User:Sjacie 16:40, 24 May 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, it's pretty pathetic. Batchie 16:41, 24 May 2010 (UTC)

Exactly what I was going to say. Future User Future Signature.png 16:42, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
-Edit conflictx2- 3 War Supplies in NM plus 1 in HM?
A low count for the occassion, or do you suppose Anet changed the reward system to balance the acquisition of Royal Gifts etc? Twam Valandil 94.209.65.245 16:43, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
That's a possibility. I think they might tweak the whole reward system soon, also nerfing the runs somehow (either decrease the amount of supplies, make the run harder or limit the run to a few times a day). Right now selling those supplies is crazy.--Fogeltje 16:54, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
x5. Bad reward is bad. And you might as well wait for Wanted: Elvina the Pious to do this one. Idmz 16:48, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
I'm sure this must be a bug. This guy is much more difficult to get to than the previous ones; my party keeps wiping. There's no way he's worth 4. --Mme. Donelle 17:03, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
My guess is that completing all of the bounties is the requirement for the next whatever. 65.40.197.16 17:23, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
They sure as heck better not be since you can't pick up anything but current day's. They'd just be dwindling the number of players that have access. Keep adding requirements that can't be met until there's only one dude left and he wins the game. :P Clobimon Craiggy 17:30, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
As far as previous rewards go 4 war supplies is a bit on the crap side but I personally found this the easiest one yet, There was only one mob en route that I couldn't avoidDakota 17:51, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
+1 on the vote for the suckiest reward for a quest! I saw the location and thought "this will be worth a bit". doh! 78.105.242.214 19:30, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
Hmm, the only thing that gets me moving for this one are my guildies. Otherwise I would have skipped it :/ Markus Clouser User Markus Clouser signature img.jpg 20:03, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
If it hadn't been that I'd needed to Vanq the entire area, I wouldn't have bothered full stop. Honestly, the time it takes to do this, you can easily get one of the courier runs mostly done. That said, guess this is just a sign that they're probably going to rebalance it, including the courier runs. Amitiel 20:18, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
I'm like that with vanquishing as well. If I have something to do in the area, why not vanquish it whilst I'm there. I do the same with GotT farms then at least if I don't get the items I need I have the cash to buy them.
I've only seen the courier once, during the first Shining Blade Bounty and naturally he died since group wasn't paying attention to him. Ramei Arashi 22:41, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
thats a pretty long trek for somone who can't even offer 5 war supplies Zachariah Zuan. 08:51, 15 June 2010 (UTC)
Doing HM for one war supply is wasting time... User Demonical Monk av.png Demonical Monk 17:17, 5 July 2010 (UTC)
Doing it in NM for 3 is also a waste of tine. So just ignore the quest. There are 10 and even 15 supplies rewarded quests far faster than this one. --Lhoj 21:07, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
Very. This was the suckiest reward ever. I went ahead and did it but didn't even bother for HM...1 war supply is not worth it. NM was easy though, got to him and got him killed in about 3 minutes --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.103.162.199 (talk) at 02:33, 1 February 2011 (UTC).
