What can these be traded for? Eive_Windgrace 23:48, 21 May 2010 (UTC)

Royal Gift from Zadok in Salma's little area off LA. And Metals of Honor from a Forager right across from him. Don't ask me what they do though. I have no idea. Lillium 23:50, 21 May 2010 (UTC)

I received 10. It would appear it is a variable number Dkpat 01:02, 22 May 2010 (UTC)

Medals or presents[edit]

I'm torn between stockpileing these for the medals in case they can be added for the hom. Or spending it all on presents and hopeing for a mini.

Well, since we don't quite know what the medals do yet, I say simply stockpile the Supplies. :P --MushaUser Musha Sigc.png 17:51, 22 May 2010 (UTC)
The gifts can contain medals.--Cyberman 21:59, 28 May 2010 (UTC)

PVP[edit]

No note that they can't be used in PVP. Kyubiko 04:47, 23 May 2010 (UTC)

Collectors[edit]

Shouldnt the two collectors in beetletun be added?--Markisbeest 12:05, 24 May 2010 (UTC)

One of them is already added, the 2nd collector doesn't collect collect War Supplies, but Confessor's Orders.

Reward Imbalance[edit]

Who else is of a mind that War Supplies are very unbalanced? First lets look at the rewards for Most Wanted missions. These vary from as little as 4 to as much as 15 War Supplies, and this seems a random amount rather than based on difficulty (getting to, and then defeating). The Courrier Runs seem ok, but then we have the likes of Confessor's Orders, which you have to get 3 uncommon drops of, to trade for 1 measley War Supply... And then, after all the hassle of gathering together 15 of them (45 Confessors Order's if you go that route) and you likely end up with a scroll or something... Decide whether you want War Supplies to be easily obtainable or not, because you seem to be split on this one. And then either raise the minimum worth of the rewards entirely if you make them harder to get across the board (all missions < 5 supplies in HM, Confessor's orders = fine, lower rewards for courier runs) or make the supplies consistantly easier to obtain (raise amount for confessors orders trades, increase bounty rewards to around 10-15 as some have been, courier runs = fine). I think the current system is well out of whack, with wildy variable difficult/reward ratios. User Radthor Dax Sig.png Radthor Dax 16:46, 26 May 2010 (UTC)

You should turn this into a suggestion so it will get better face time with the devs. Cause I agree, 4 war supplies was a joke. --MushaUser Musha Sigc.png 13:46, 27 May 2010 (UTC)
I actually thought it was quite fair, as I only had to take out one mob on the way to the boss for yesterday's bounty (silly fire imps), and I was done in about 3 minutes from taking the quest. The previous day's was relatively more difficult (non-avoidable mobs because of the narrow paths required to get to the boss), and got a correspondingly higher reward. Confessor's orders to me are just icing on the cake, like any random drops. Courier runs.... Meh, kind of interesting, but I do think the rewards should change in HM. -- FreedomBoundUser Freedom Bound Sig.png 14:14, 27 May 2010 (UTC)

Why?[edit]

Conceivably, the Shining Blade need the War Supplies to supply their troops with weapons, armor, and the like, so they collect them from you to that purpose. Makes sense so far, right? Until you realize that the only way you can get them is... for the Shining Blade to give them to you. ...Huh? Leon Drakenhart 23:22, 27 May 2010 (UTC)

But arent you one of the Shining Blade troops too, on some level? User Radthor Dax Sig.png Radthor Dax 00:42, 28 May 2010 (UTC)

armor stacking[edit]

anyone know if the armor bonus stacks beyond cap?

Farming[edit]

Does anybody know a good way to farm War Supplies?

So far I've been doing Rise and the Wanted by the Shining Blade quest cycle.

Wanted! is is not exactly the best way to farm, as it only cycles once a day and the reward depends on the offered quest, which may be as low as 4 WS in HM.

Rising seems to be the best Hearts of the North mini mission in terms of WS/time, ranging from 5 to 10 minutes. The other missions take more time to complete as far as I was able to determine, BUT: the dialogs impose some useless waiting time.

Has anybody found a better way farm those? Escorting Courier Falken is not worth the effort, especially after the nerf, I fear.

Rise is the fastest, based on Supplies/hour. Next best is every 3 weeks, do the Kessex Peak Trifecta (to kill the third boss, you have to go through the first two). You can also solo farm in Kryta with a wanted quest active, but I can't imagine that you'd get more supplies than through Rise (plus: even grindier). — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 06:56, 26 June 2011 (UTC)
Many wanted bounties provide more supplies/hour than Rise: the kessex trifecta, Amalek, Calamitous and Zaln. Maybe Barthimus. For all other bounties, Rise is more efficient. That's 105 supplies every three weeks through bounties. Another good source of supplies/medals is to play through WiK with another character, reaping the one-time rewards as well as enabling access to more wanted bounties.
Some prefer Auspicious Beginnings over Rise - after killing the first group, just run through to the boss and kill him. It's riskier, but potentially faster.
Solo farming the WiK mobs for Confessor's Orders won't do. Getting 15 orders in 10 minutes just won't happen with a solo build, not when those WiK mobs can pretty much counter any build there is. Tub 10:28, 26 June 2011 (UTC)

Sweet tooth points[edit]

Is it just me or do they give sweet tooth points when consumed? I've tested this a couple of times but can't see it mentioned anywhere. Mac talk 06:19, 8 April 2012 (UTC)

Have updated the war supply page to give the sweet points but haven't updated the sweet pages. Maybe someone else can update those if they agree. Mac talk 19:54, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
Wow nice spot, I can't beleive nobody else noticed that. Well done. File:User Chieftain Alex Chieftain Signature.jpg Chieftain Alex 22:44, 8 April 2012 (UTC)
