Helm[edit]

The "Overview" images need to be updated by whoever so that they now show the recently added helm --Gummy Joe 12:32, 6 April 2007 (EDT)

Emily had a render up including them before we got this one, so I guess it will be added soon. Maybe it was we who told them the helm wasn't in game after all, when we talked to Emily about the render. :P - Anja Astor Anja Astor (talk) 16:14, 6 April 2007 (EDT)
Yeah, I remember that one. Pity she deleted it instead of just overwriting it, tho.

Is it just me or does this image differ to others by totally lacking shadows? -- Helena 22:39, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
It does, it looks painted, almost. - anja talk (contribs) 22:41, 27 May 2007 (UTC)
Yes, exactly what I thought. -- Helena 06:53, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
it does look like it has been added to the picture afterwards... i dont like this helmet too much though... it was about time the added it, but i would have enjoyed it more if it was a helmet more like the helmet from the movie gladiator or 300. IIFearII 10:37, 28 February 2009 (UTC)

Where?[edit]

We really need to note where to get this and all other elite armor sets. Ken 04:02, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

See the crafting table? Look what it says in the first cell on the third row. - BeX iawtc 04:28, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

Old bug in male skirt.[edit]

That bug in front of the male skirt is getting old, wow! more than two years with the bug? OMG! Specially knowing is one of the most popular armors of GW history. So, players just resigned about this bug? and put it in the "it will never be fixed" list? -NeHoMaR User NeHoMaR sig.jpg 21:34, 17 October 2007 (UTC)

Care to explain the bug? - anja talk 05:13, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
It's really easy to see, it's like a brown circle in up-front part of the skirt, here you can see:

Surprisingly in this second picture, look like the bug is edited, because that is NOT the way you can see it in game:

Looks like a clipping error to me. The mesh underneath was designed in the paperdoll pose, but when the character stands in its normal pose the mesh and texture that are meant to be over the top instead hang inside the bottom mesh. - BeX iawtc 15:49, 22 October 2007 (UTC)

Transformers Headgear[edit]

The helmet looks like an autobot head hahaha. 122.104.165.13 06:44, 31 July 2008 (UTC)

long as we are making fun of it. i HATE this armor. what is the attraction to this thing? its the crapiest set ive ever seen and i dont get why ppl like it. and that whole thing about combining this with other sets legs and what not? thats ugly as hell. Briar 20:55, 13 February 2009 (UTC)briar
because its cool to see arrows bouncing off your naked stomache ^^ IIFearII 10:33, 28 February 2009 (UTC)

Female set looks hot, that's what's good about it.

Bikini with the highest armor rating in the game? OWNAGE! Paddymew 19:53, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
Lol I hate the boots of this set, makes you lok like you have donkey feet, it silly. AlcamiLord 15:59, 14 June 2009 (UTC)

Worst armor in combat[edit]

One hit in the chest and you're dead :/ this is not even an "armor" especially the female one. They could've added a small chest piece to cover the torso --Soulforged Mesmer-tango-icon-200.png 13:06, 26 July 2009 (UTC)

Atleast these guys have metal. Have you looked at the elementalist armors lately? And even then, its not realistic. :P --65.80.248.185 12:27, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
Primevil armour is so pointy that when I dance I lacerate myself... MrPaladin talk 12:52, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
Look we're speaking about warriors, warriors fight elementalists don't, they don't need armor to protect themselves they just wear clothes, so basically the elementalists' armor is ok but warriors who charge into battle and fight face to face need a much more defensive armor. --Soulforged Mesmer-tango-icon-200.png 14:44, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
Dervs run into battle, and they were what looks like cotton. :x --65.80.248.185 10:20, 29 July 2009 (UTC)
That's because gladiators often wore "garments" similar to these, I suppose as the Roman-era equivalent of fanservice. This was originally reflected as Gladiator Armor's lack of a defensive bonus like every other armor type had, but was replaced by a boost to their energy pool (this was before Insignias existed). I agree that it's pretty useless as an armor though. But then, so are a lot of other armor.s --Jette User Jette awesome.png 11:37, 29 July 2009 (UTC)
It's more 1337 because it means you're so just so damn good at defending yourself with your weapons -- like a Jedi! 76.124.128.133 01:21, 19 September 2009 (UTC)
Willing suspension of disbelief. —Jette User Jette awesome.png 01:22, 19 September 2009 (UTC)
not to mention the giant shoulder pad blade thing, looks mega awesome in my opinion
I know its a lil late to the conversation, but that huge spike on the shoulder, it was on some real armor, the function it serves is to block from actually getting the head chopped off. That would be the sword weilding side, while the sheild would have been used on the other to block. in actuality its a very functional armor. And besides it just looks super cool. 68.58.205.126 01:33, 21 September 2010 (UTC)
