Anomaly?[edit]

Seems that this doesnt work against assassin's Dancing Daggers and/or Signet of Toxic shock. It doesn't remove condition if damage was taken from one of these. Seems it doesnt trigger health stealup too.82.200.241.53 07:03, 11 September 2007 (UTC)SpiritsDontExist

IDK, the only times it doesn't work is when u take AoE magic dmg from a dead source. Ninjas In The Sky 17:08, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
Also, does this skill remove a condition applied by the skill that triggers it? For example, if I was to WoR myself immediately before being cripshotted, would I retain the cripple or would it be removed by WoR? Might be good to add this to the main article too, if anyone can shed some light on the matter.--210.54.85.69 17:58, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
No offense, but you could just test it yourself and share the results with the class instead of using the talk page. 72.235.48.41 11:18, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
I know from GvG experience that when you Cripshot someone with WoR on them they will still be crippled, and it is not instantly removed. Loser223 07:05, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

Needs a -slight- buff[edit]

With Xinrae's Weapon as good as it is, this skills is rather outclassed. I can easily get the condition removal in with Xin's with Wielder's Remedy anyway. Not that this skill is bad, it's just outshined nowadays with all the upgraded elites. Maybe give it hex removal in addition (with a slightly longer recharge). 12.6.238.154 21:50, 28 February 2009 (UTC)

Its used a bit in Sabway necro heroes (with the healer) because it is easier to get than Xinrae's. But a nice buff would be nice. --Burning Freebies 21:55, 28 February 2009 (UTC)
Would be nice if it removed the condition on cast instead of when hit Cirian 15:41, 7 May 2009 (UTC)
indeed, that would be an acceptable buff i guess. —ZerphatalkThe Improver 12:19, 23 May 2009 (UTC)

i'm in your split, countering it all with 1 skill. 82.75.192.76 10:16, 1 July 2009 (UTC)

Xinrae's Weapon definitely dwarfes this elite, as it is. It should offer a more constant protection. "Weapon Spell. For X seconds, whenever target ally is hit by an attack, that ally loses 1 condition. When this spell ends, that ally loses 1 hex." FleshAndFaith 19:44, 6 March 2010 (UTC)

Xinrae's weapon doesn't prevent life steal or remove any conditions. It's a one time damage reduction, sort of like a temporary protective spirit. Weapon of Remedy is way better. In pvp, you have protective spirit. In pve, shelter. Xinrae's is useless for protection. It should be buffed, not WOR. 74.243.163.110 23:15, 20 January 2013 (UTC)

Research[edit]

Can someone test whether or not the note in the Notes section (about this skill removing a condition before an attack hits) also applies to spells that deal damage and inflict a condition? --Silver Edge 03:12, 31 March 2010 (UTC)

Tested Immolate, Lightning Touch, Apply Poison, and Crippling Attack (no condition removed), as well as Shockwave, Eruption, Grenth's Grasp, and Double Dragon (condition removed). Perhaps AoE/DoT spells are condition-first and direct spells are damage-first? Maybe there's no general rule and we'd have to write out lists to be thorough. Testing more skills would be a pretty big project, though - Alexis Toran (talk) 22:02, 27 February 2023 (UTC)
