Scree Hatchling[edit]

There is an error...its shown as a lvl2 Ranger on this Article (what could be right, as i can remember shrunk Skree Harpies). But the Skree Hatchling Article shows them as the lvl8 Istan Griffin Monks... Zerpha The Improver 22:00, 18 September 2007 (UTC)

Skree's Running Away[edit]

I am trying to get my Cartographer title right now and I am going through the Wilderness of Bahdza. All of the skree's are heading towards the entrance to the south from Resplendant Makhun. They do not attack me. All they keep doing is heading for that entrance and once they get there, they disappear. Anyone else have that? I think their AI may be messed up. (I did come from that entrance if that made the difference) Dervish-tango-icon-20.pngDevi Talk 14:30, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

Nope. It's part of the quest Destroy the Harpies. They do that until you complete that quest (or some other quest, not sure). It's in the notes. -- ab.er.rant User Ab.er.rant Sig.png 03:15, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

Ok, I have a problem with these skrees. I have completed the quest Destroy the Harpies a few months ago and I have accepted the reward. I've also checked that Korrub, Flame of Dreams boss spawns (they say it doesn't spawn unless you have completed that quest). Still, when I tried to vanquish this area I had the unpleasant surprise of a skree spawning after Screecher died. I didn't expect it to appear and I couldn't catch him, he went through the portal and I abandoned the vanquish. So can anyone shed some light on the situation? Do the skrees still spawn, do they count towards the vanquish of the area? The Masquerader 15:42, 18 December 2008 (UTC)

Maybe it's a quest bug. But once they're off the map, they shouldn't count anymore. -- ab.er.rant User Ab.er.rant Sig.png 03:27, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
No matter how hard i try atleast one will get through. I suggest speed and knockdowns, i ebon snipered one just before he went through too. However i'm sure one got through and im starting to wonder whether this vanquish will work. I will get back to you if it lets me, if not then i wasted some time :) --Smithy-Star User Smithyben sig icon.png 17:52, 11 November 2009 (UTC)
I managed to vanquish the area, confirmed i let 1 or two through the portal. Maybe you just had something running elsewhere on the map or a poppup of beetles? --Smithy-Star User Smithyben sig icon.png 18:34, 11 November 2009 (UTC)

Vanquish[edit]

This one's a pain to vanquish, barbs with hekets, and although only a few, searing flames will give you problems. It was fun tho :D --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 92.1.146.251 (talk).

166foes, 1hr, vanq/mapping. The real sucky part about this map is the fact the bounties dont always match with the foes (as per notes section). There are a couple patroling mobs that can catch you off guard but any time i thought i was gonna wipe in these scenarios I ended up winning. Very few monks here (griffon & blue tongues) and most groups have none. You cant go wrong with blind in this zone. There is a mesmer boss Djinn that looks like a saphire. I thought it was a dervish so i kept spamming Ineptitude on it because i thought it was destroying my team. Well infact it was a mesmer with...VoR. A minor daze/interupt does wonders for Ruby djinns but regular spreading out works aswell. Justice 05:18, 13 September 2010 (UTC)
164 foes in 36 minutes - post Destroy the Harpies and post Extinction. Be careful with the mesmer djinn boss. Zenyatta (talk) 23:08, 20 November 2015 (UTC)

Blessing Bug[edit]

I meant to post this a few weekends ago during the sunspear/lb weekend. One of the eastern shrines gives a Minotaur blessing but there are not any minotaurs on the map; on the other hand, there are plenty of Hekets but no heket blessing. Here is a pic right before I fight a heket boss group but didnt get any sunspear points. This is the last group to vanquish the map so I got all the blessings: http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Image:Gw386.jpg Phoenix Locklear 00:32, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

The Heket are a quest spawn. Complete Extinction and the shrine will make more sense. -- WarBlade 00:38, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

Conflicting Suggestions[edit]

Anyone notice that the Notes section has conflicting suggestions on when to vanquish the area relative to quest completions? The two probably need to be combined in some way that explains the differences, but doesn't contradict itself... or something. I can't think of a good way to write it myself.184.17.114.150 17:37, 15 October 2011 (UTC)
