August Update[edit]

Do perma-sins have to worry about this skill now? As it doesn't specifically target with the enchantment removal I would think so but someone can test and find out for sure. Sark 14:17, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

"This skill can remove enchantments like Spell Breaker, Obsidian Flesh, Shadow Form or Spell Shield which prevent spell targeting. "...Read the note? :P Mystical Celestia 14:21, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
No, they don't, as nothing uses this skill. Seriously. Try finding a monster that uses it. You won't. --Jette User Jette awesome.png 14:31, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
Remember when they added Dying Nightmares because UW was "too easy" to 55/ss? LOOK WHAT YOU HAVE DONE JETTE! --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Moo Kitty (talk).
I'd love it if they added Winds of Disenchantment monsters to the UW. It would be easier to just nerf the everloving shit out of shadow form, but I guess whatever works works. --Jette User Jette awesome.png 14:56, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
Agreed, but you couldn't give it to too many foes at once. Otherwise any sort of protection becomes useless, and that isn't good either. Kelvin Greyheart 15:19, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
Its a shame UW monsters have only core skills >_> 72.222.217.198 15:50, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
Wait. Crap nevermind. 72.222.217.198 15:51, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
Give Aatxe Demonic Agility and Expunge Enchantments, tbh. --Jette User Jette awesome.png 16:16, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

RI: Demonic agility is not something that strikes me as a good idea considering 600 smites Definitely don't need aatxe dropping in 5 seconds. Expunge would force you to bring unremovable weapon and shout stuff or at least one person with blinding surge. Maybe a longish casting touch skill. "Expel greater powers" All elite effects are removed from target creature, and all of that targets elites are disabled for 10 seconds. Wouldn't kill 55/600 but would make it harder, and it would kill SF. Kelvin Greyheart 16:27, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

Or they could just nerf SF, since SF is easier and more powerful than 600 or 55 and can be done with one person, so while a nerf which hurt all of those equally wouldn't make SF any less powerful, relatively speaking, nerfing SF would. That said, something with Winds and maybe just a single enchantment or whatever could work since then you would be able to strip their enchantment to prevent them using winds... it wouldn't break the farms, but would make them harder. 86.26.103.165 19:35, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
Or you could just give Rending Touch or Expunge Enchantments to the Dying Nightmares. -~=Sparky User Sparky, the Tainted charr sig.PNG (talk) 20:45, 6 September 2009 (UTC)
Rending Touch is a spell... /doh. -~=Sparky User Sparky, the Tainted charr sig.PNG (talk) 20:47, 6 September 2009 (UTC)

Possible Use[edit]

Maybe a good skill to pair with Eternal Aura, if you can find a way to make Mysticism work with Wind Prayers. Even if you have low Wind Prayers, you'd be removing enchantments from nearby enemies. ~ A R A ~ 01:00, 19 August 2010 (UTC)

Bugged (Dated:12/1/10)[edit]

This spell currently deals damage (and may remove enchantments as well) even if an enchantment isn't removed. I was using it on my low-level Dervish and accidentally pressed it without any enchants on, it still dealt damage. From that point on I tested to make sure it wasn't a mistake and have come to the conclusion that the skill is currently bugged and will deal damage regardless of enchantment removal. User Weston Sig.pngWeston talk 19:43, 1 December 2010 (UTC)

Winds of Disenchantment stripped Healing Breeze off the Master of Healing without having any enchantments to remove from myself. Note modified. MA Anathe 21:11, 1 December 2010 (UTC)
Thank you for your help MA Anathe ^^ User Weston Sig.pngWeston talk 21:28, 1 December 2010 (UTC)
Any chance the damage and enemy enchant removal happens before my own enchantment gets lost? That could explain the anomaly. 83.236.214.68 16:46, 18 February 2011 (UTC)
