Format and Layout[edit]

I just copied most of the format from the Dragon Festival Grab Bag, so if you'd like to make any changes, I'd be grateful. Also, I'm unsure about the items which are in the grab bag, so I haven't added that yet. --78.149.53.211 16:50, 14 December 2012 (UTC)

This was my doing! I didn't have my account back then, so I thought it'd be worth adding. Xanos (talk) 16:45, 29 June 2014 (UTC)

Grab Bag drops?[edit]

I just went for the grab bag myself, scored 5 Battle Isle Iced Teas. WHat else does it give? Mauirixxx 22:54, 16 December 2012 (UTC)

Just received mini polar bear[edit]

Thought this would be worth mentioning, that I just received a mini polar bear from my 8th grab bag. It didn't do any text when I opened any of them, so no way to show it was from that, but I can guarantee it happened. 5 cakes, 15 teas, 15 beacons, and a polar bear. Best of luck! --Darius Shalnin 00:57, 1 January 2013 (UTC)

Would be great for ANet to confirm by the way. --75.139.0.65 01:11, 1 January 2013 (UTC)
While I cannot confirm whether Darius received a mini polar bear—congratulations, Darius, if you did—I can confirm that there is a very small chance of receiving one from opening these bags. Considering that acquisition of the bag is year/account limited, the chance of the miniature dropping in this manner is roughly on par with running the relevant festival quest ten times. That said, I'm not sure why someone thinks you can also get everlasting reindeer tonics from the bag... ~ Matthew Moore 23:09, 8 January 2013 (UTC)
I've removed Everlasting Reindeer Tonic from the page. --Silver Edge 23:14, 8 January 2013 (UTC)
Text does appear when receiving a Miniature Polar Bear from a Wintersday Grab Bag. --Silver Edge 06:16, 23 December 2014 (UTC)

(Reset indent) For drop rate research, I received a Miniature Polar Bear on the third Wintersday Grab Bag of the four I've opened. I received two Wintersday Grab Bags in last year's Wintersday and two in this year's Wintersday. --Silver Edge 06:06, 23 December 2014 (UTC)

Gz SE!! I opened 53 and did not get one! D: I did get 20 (100/5) Party Beacons, 19 (95/5) Delicious Cakes and 14 (70/5) Battle Isle Iced Teas. Sardaukar User Sardaukar sig.png 03:59, 29 December 2014 (UTC)
Thanks. I thought Miniature Polar Bears had a higher drop rate from Wintersday Grab Bags since we have reports here of two Miniature Polar Bears from a total of thirteen Wintersday Grab Bags (before you posted your Wintersday Grab Bags information), while the Wintersday Chest has a 0.02% chance of dropping a Miniature Polar Bear (I've opened the Wintersday Chest a lot of times over the years, at least 156 times this Wintersday which isn't over yet, and never had a Miniature Polar Bear drop). I guess Darius Shalnin (above) and myself got really lucky. I created a drop rate table above with the information. I received Party Beacons from the other Wintersday Grab Bag this Wintersday, but I don't remember what consumables I received from the two Wintersday Grab Bags last Wintersday, so my drop rate information will be incomplete. The three consumables probably have the same drop rate. --Silver Edge 11:03, 29 December 2014 (UTC)
