It's using the skin of a Katana. Oozy 14:00, 10 February 2012 (UTC)

Is it melee? Or...is it what I think it is, and it's a Katana that shoots fireballs? --User Wandering Traveler Sig2.png Traveler (talk) 02:56, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
It is what you think it is, and it is totally a Katana that shoots fireballs. 158.135.252.105 09:21, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
A wand that uses the Katana skin...Well, fun nevertheless. Oozy 11:36, 12 February 2012 (UTC)

Well......I'm glad I've chosen to go with lockboxes instead of the Imperial Wepons....Because I must have this along with the bo-staff-scythe MorazaDarkheart 15:11, 14 February 2012 (UTC)

Come On Anet[edit]

Why do you insist on making well-skinned weapons and attaching them to terrible stats? >_> Surgo 03:40, 12 February 2012 (UTC)

Why don't you just pick yourself up a Katana? --MushaUser Musha Sigc.png 08:23, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
Because Katanas aren't wands, this weapon is. -- 76.181.167.16 18:48, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
What stats would you like it to have? They can't use "of Memory" and still make it a generic wand for all caster professions, and your only other inscription choices are either +damage (wtf?), +5e while enchanted (not everyone uses enchantments), +7e <50%/Hexed (+5e >50% is way more common for general use), or +15e at the cost of -1 energy regeneration (which would effectively make it worthless for most general builds). If you were expecting a 20/20 wand, then I'd like to point out that doing so would limit the wand to a specific attribute. 98.156.77.144 09:33, 15 February 2012 (UTC)
Since most of the other weapons are tied to one attribute, why not? There are far too much useless greenies, many of them even have technical replicas. So why not make a good wand instead of another +60hp+5e Staff? 95.223.192.53 17:46, 16 February 2012 (UTC)
10% HCT, 10% HSR? — Raine Valen User Raine R.gif 18:05, 16 Feb 2012 (UTC)
I feel like there is too much complaining about this thing. It is an actual caster sword, you will want it anyway. - Infinite - talk 19:09, 16 February 2012 (UTC)
Stats are perfect for a multi-attribute weapon. It's usable and advantageous to every concievable wand using build without overly favoring some builds over others. What other stats could there be really? 84.48.54.253 17:22, 12 March 2012 (UTC)
Late to the party again, however... Maybe it's time to globalise HCT/HSR on caster weapons. Would it really create an imbalance or stupidly overpower certain builds? It would be nice if they could shorten the req too, e.g. "requires 9 in the wielder's primary attribute" or similar. --snogratUser Snograt signature.png 16:37, 4 June 2012 (UTC)

Ice Katana Hantei[edit]

This would fit my elemenalist as she is a Guild warified-version of my unrelated Book Series female main Yumiko Ishida. The naming is very similar to the Japanese name of the Icy Blade, Hantei (Meaning, Judgment Law) that she uses as her main weapon in combat. If I wanted I could rename the blade in my story Hanshou (Judgement Justice) to be a more fit. Its quite a coincidence that GW made a weapon to fit this theme for my character in game so nicely. I want this weapon so much more now. I will try to finish WoC just to get one. I could not be more giddy with excitement.Yumiko ^,~ 20:15, 21 February 2012 (UTC)

This is not your personal blog, please try to stay on topic with relevant discussions. --Frozen 07:31, 27 February 2012 (UTC)
Her topic is fine. As this is a discussion of Xun Rao's Justics, which according to Yumiko is contextually relevant to the existence of another blade (Judgement Law) in respects to an extant 'elemental' blade. i.e. on the surface level, it's an indirect-but complementary theme about 'swords' in generally--specifically the katana and its pertinence to justice. And on the contextual level--it quite interesting that here character is an Elementalist (which is to say, its relevant because it's a 'share-able' astonishment with else, merited by it's relevant interest to the topic.) There are bigger bones to pick...and atm your a statements validity under the topic of a rather aesthetic pve-oriented fantasy weapon. Don't crush flowers where you know them--not to usually grow. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.113.94.245 (talk).11:13, 9 June 2012
