Pet tamer

A Pet tamer is an NPC who will take your animal companion off your hands. If the pet is level 20 when you trade it in, you get 100. You get no gold if your pet is below level 20.

Once you have charmed a pet using Charm Animal, this is the only way to lose the pet. You must release your pet to a pet tamer before you can charm another animal. Your pet must be present (i.e., Charm Animal equipped) when you talk to the pet tamer.
