Although they bear a superficial resemblance to the worms encountered in Ascalon before the Searing, Tar Behemoths are properly members of the Behemoth family. They are lazy creatures, spending most of their time sleeping near tar lakes, but they attack with surprising ferocity when they are disturbed.
