Usage[edit]

Info-Logo.png Note: This template is being replaced by {{location disambiguation 2}}. Do not add it to new articles. If adjusting pointers, replace its use with the new template. See the relevant talk page for details.

This template is intended for use at the top of mission, outpost and explorable area articles to provide a disambiguation link to the other two corresponding locations (if they exist).

The basic usage syntax is:

{{Location disambiguation|Location name}}

Location name

This parameter is required. This is the name of the location without any disambiguation identifiers, Fort Ranik and not Fort Ranik (outpost) for example, and this same value is used for the mission, outpost and explorable area pages. In almost all cases, this is the only parameter you will need to use. The code will auto-detect from which of the three pages it's being called, and will link to the other two appropriate locations.

For example, this same line would be added to all three locations: The Eternal Grove, The Eternal Grove (outpost) and The Eternal Grove (explorable area):

{{Location disambiguation|The Eternal Grove}}

Optional parameters[edit]

There may be exceptions for which the name of the mission/explorable/outpost deviates from the pattern. For those you can use one of the following three optional parameters:

mission =

If you need to override where the mission link will point to. Defaults to Location name.

explorable =

If you need to override where the explorable area link will point to. Defaults to Location name (explorable area).

outpost =

If you need to override where the outpost link will point to. Defaults to Location name (outpost).

For an example of everything being used together:

{{Location disambiguation|Consulate Docks|outpost=Consulate Docks (outpost)|explorable=Gandara, the Moon Fortress}}
