The Temple of War (also known as The Forge) is a mighty fortress of the Eternals found in the center of the Fissure of Woe. The temple has a north and a south entrance. Both of these entrances are locked until the appropriate trigger event has been completed. The northern entrance from the Great Battle Field can be opened by killing the Shadow Monks and Shadow Mesmers guarding it. The southern entrance can be opened by defeating the near identical group guarding that entrance, which can be accessed most easily through the Spider Cave.

The Temple of War is the home of the Eternal Forgemaster and has been surrounded by the Shadow Army. It is also the only place at which players can craft the exclusive obsidian armor, after completing Restore the Temple of War.
