- Ascalonian Hunter: Duke Barradin has asked me to watch for people brave enough to cross the wall.
- Ascalonian Hunter: Follow me. I'll show you the safest way to Piken Square.

- Ascalonian Hunter: The Charr have been patroling the area regualrly, but so far they've left us alone in Piken.

- These quests will affect the spawns in this area:
- Complete exploration of this area contributes approximately 1.3% to the Tyrian Cartographer title.
- To vanquish this area, you must defeat around 104-134 foes.
- If you bring an MM, you can often find an Academy Monk with a group of guards near the exit to Old Ascalon, if you make sure she's seen your minions, you can easily get her to follow you in order to heal them. She can be very handy to have in a pinch, especially with how often you run into Power Block while vanquishing this zone.
