This quest takes the character back to the Crystal Desert and guides the character to the Crystal Desert outposts which now have different quests for each profession. These quests allow switching one's secondary profession to that of the corresponding quest once completed.

- Travel to Seeker's Passage.
- Travel to Destiny's Gorge.
- Travel to Heroes' Audience.
- Return to Vanyi for your reward.

Walkthrough[edit]
Map travel back to each of the three outposts in the Crystal Desert, where several new quests become available. Players may choose to take the quests from the NPCs located there and complete them to change their secondary profession. It is not necessary to complete any of those quests to receive the quest reward from Vanyi - See notes for details on how to do this workaround.

- Vanyi
- "Come closer, <character name>. Look me in the eye... As I thought! You've got the look of someone who's been to Augury Rock and come out the other side. A true hero in the making.
- Well, listen to me, hero: do not be deceived. The desert still holds more secrets for you to unlock. Take my advice and seek out the places called Seeker's Passage and Destiny's Gorge and Heroes' Audience.. There you may find challenges worthy of a true champion."
Accept: "Thank you for the advice."
Decline: "Leave me alone!"
Ask: "Further challenges await you in the desert. You search for the places called Seeker's Passage and Destiny's Gorge and Heroes' Audience."
Reward dialogue[edit]
- Vanyi
- "You traveled all that way and didn't bother talking to a single one of the ghosts there, did you? No no no no... Don't bother denying it. I'd know if you had. I've an eye for these things. Well, at any rate now you know where they are. Next time, try talking to the ghosts. You may find they have interesting things to say."
Notes[edit]
- Having visited those locations previously will not fulfill the objectives, but allows you to do so by simple map travel.
- After visiting one of the locations given in this quest and completing one of the secondary profession quests available, return to Vanyi, where the followup quest The Hero's Challenge will become available.
- If a character already has visited the outposts and changed professions before talking to Vanyi, it is possible to acquire both quests at the same time.
