The Norn Fighting Tournament is a minigame in Guild Wars Eye of the North to earn reputation with the Norn. The tournament arena can be found in Gunnar's Hold and is accessible to all characters who arrive at this town. This minigame pits your character against 5 different opponents in consecutive one-on-one battles. Should you prevail, you will face down Magni the Bison (most of the time, see the Rules section below), the champion and founder of this tournament.

[edit] Game mechanics
To enter the tournament, first acquire the quest Round 1: Fight! from Magni the Bison.
Talk to Gellir Frostshield to start the tournament. A fee of 100
is automatically deducted from your character upon confirmation. Your character must have the quest Round 1: Fight! in order to enter the tournament. Obtain the quest from Magni the Bison if this is the first time your character is entering the tournament or is re-entering the tournament after previously winning the tournament. Losing the tournament will keep that quest in your quest log.
[edit] Rules
There are six rounds that you must win in total to be considered the winner of the tournament. The first five opponents are randomly chosen from the list of opponents shown below. Note that each opponent will have a chance to appear only in a certain round. In other words, each round has a different set of potential opponents.
The tournament takes place in a small explorable area designed as an arena. Each of the 6 rounds of battle (5 random opponents and the final round) takes place in a different instance of the area. Your character starts each round in a small side room with a 10-second countdown. When the countdown ends, the previously closed door will be opened, allowing access to the larger circular chamber where your opponent awaits. Your opponent turns hostile the moment the countdown ends, although he or she will not move until you step out of the side room. Once you enter the central area, the door will close behind you, and your opponent will start to attack.
You must defeat your opponent in order to continue to the next round. 5 Norn reputation points are awarded upon winning round 1, 10 points for round 2, 15 points for round 3, 20 points for round 4, and 25 points for round 5 - a total of 75 points. There is no reputation point reward for winning the final round.

The following table shows all the opponents in the Norn Fighting Tournament. Your first opponent is randomly chosen from a pool of six opponents. Rounds 2 and 4 have a pool of seven opponents, while rounds 3 and 5 have five. The final round pits you against Magni the Bison, but rarely, Palawa Joko appears instead.
All of the opponents you may face are level 20, unless specifically noted otherwise.

- After winning against Zho for the first time, you will receive Zho's Journal in your inventory.
- If you defeat the Great Zehtuka with Zehtuka's Great Horn in your inventory, he will replace the horn with Zehtuka's Horn.
- Mhenlo receives an infinite length Protective Spirit at the start of his round.
