Tortured Spirits are souls found in the Forgotten Vale in the Underworld. When you first find Tortured Spirits in the Forgotten Vale they are not hostile to the party. After taking the quest Wrathful Spirits a few hostile groups of Tortured Spirits will spawn and start attacking other Tortured Spirits and the party.
During the quest Imprisoned Spirits you will have to protect a group of Tortured Spirits.
