[edit] Notes
- When you activate Ursan Blessing, your skill bar is replaced by this one:
- When you activate this skill, all Upkeep Enchantments you maintain will be removed.
- For the first 30 seconds, it's impossible to use Totem of Man as it is recharging. The only way to end the blessing during this period is to reach 0 Energy by another means, like weapon swapping.
- When the blessing ends, you get your original skill bar back and Ursan Blessing starts recharging.
- This skill does not affect your Primary attribute making it easier to maintain for Necromancers with high Soul Reaping, Elementalists with high Energy Storage and Assassins with high Critical Strikes. Also, Paragons with high Leadership may use the shout skill, Ursan Roar, to replenish energy.
- Unlike most skills, the -2 Energy degeneration is not relative to your current Energy regeneration. This skill sets your regeneration to -2 and there is no known way to change that. In particular, Blood Ritual and Blood is Power have no effect on characters under Ursan Blessing, nor does equiping a zealous weapon.
- Due to this, weapon upgrades which decrease energy regeneration are also ineffective and have no downside. A zealous prefix, 15/1 "Live for Today" or "Seize the Day" inscriptions for foci or wands will help to maintain this blessing by providing extra energy.
- As the totem skills do not count as attacks, Signet of Stamina can be useful here as it will last the duration of the skill unless you manually attack.
- While the blessing removes enchantments, it will not remove any refrains. Thus, skills like Bladeturn Refrain, Burning Refrain or Aggressive Refrain can be kept up indefinitely by consistently using Ursan Roar.
- Testing shows that Splinter Weapon grants you energy for each foe affected.
- Ursan Blessing is used often for elite missions because of its extreme power and extremely easy usage, usually in groups of 5-6 Ursan users and 2-3 monks.
- It is possible to have Ursan Blessing and one of the Dervish's elite forms up at the same time by using Arcane Mimicry on an ally who has Ursan Blessing equipped.
