 About me (on Guild Wars)

My Guild Wars playing started in early 2006 about the time the Factions campaign came out. I would have probably started playing around the time of the beta for Prophecies, but when you have a lot going on around that time, it sort of gets pushed to the back burner. I like to consider myself an avid and diverse casual gamer, and I was never sure what to expect from the whole MMORPG experience, since at that time it was a whole new thing for me. Sure, I'd have played my share of online games, RPG games, and everything in between, but I wanted some different and exciting. Who would have ever thought that when I did get around start playing Guild Wars, I'd be hooked. I started with the Prophecies campaign and then later added Factions and later Nightfall when it was released. Being a fan of fantasy (in a non-nerd way), I was quickly drawn to many of the aspects of Guild Wars. Although I don't get to play as much as I'd like to, I do try to play as much as time allows. I enjoy both the PvE and PvP aspects of the game, and I try to allot my game playing equally among the two.
