I'm probably older than your average player - my first gaming console was Atari 400. While I enjoyed a wide variety of games, I found myself interested in mostly role playing and strategy games. I'll never forget that day I bought the first (American version) Final Fantasy and Koei was easily one of my favorite video-gaming companies back then. Eventually I found my way to the world of mudding. So it was only natural that I eventually found my way to Guild Wars. I also enjoy being a part of the Lore community on GWOnline and I'm also a moderator for Blade and Rose's sub-forum there. One of my characters is an actress in Crystal Guard.  In the game, I have low tolerance for players who are in hurry and those who thinks they are superior to others. My love for content often have me wanting to explore everything and completing all quests available in a zone before I leave the area. While I enjoy pugging, I often have found I'm better off playing alone with heroes and henchmen. Basically for me the journey itself is important while for others it seems the destination is more important. Nothing wrong with that - to each their own. People who wants to dumb down Guild Wars annoys me to no end. When I play a game, I want a challenge - end of the discussion. So I don't appreciate it when the game gets dumbed down in some way. I miss the old days when Thunderhead Keep was actually hard. Now it's a cakewalk including the bonus. That mission used to be my measuring stick of how good a player is and now it's worthless. Man, back then it used to drive people up the wall and most players refused to even bother with the bonus. Ever since, I see Anet accommodate players who thinks PvE should be easy. They even dumbed down Domain of Anguish! I understand that Anet is a business and they don't want to drive away players by making a game too difficult. It just annoys me to read threads and comments by certain persons who thinks PvE should be easy. If I wanted easy, I'll just go and play Candyland. Credits +
