Other things I like to collect are unique items. I rarely have time to farm for them, preferring to focus on my characters' development. So what I do is whenever I am in a zone where I know there are bosses with unique drops, I go for them even if it's a slim chance of getting an unique drop. Most of my unique items are my actual drops. I never have bought an unique item and I don't plan to.
