Currently I'm too bored to complete this. I've wasted more than enough time just to get the other fancy titles.

About
Greetings, I'm Chadarian, but most people call me Chad. I'm an officer in the WILD guild and have been playing GW to and fro since July 2005.

I love dealing damage to enemy mobs, therefore the character I've been playing the most (roughly 40% of total gaming time) is my elementalist. I'm however aware that other professions can can wreak just as much havoc, and that there are other roles one can fill in a party, but I just prefer the pure offence in the elementalist's area-of-effect spells. The introduction of the Zaishen Quests have given me a new reason to redo different areas of the game and made me play my other characters much more.

I've never played PvP apart from the occasional AB.

In June 2006 I was randomly picked up by a team from WILD as they were attempting the bonus of Divinity Coast. The mission went smooth and as they were doing more missions that evening I decided to join in on a few more. Since my guild at the time (Dark Hospitalers [DH]) was pretty much dead, and the WILDs seemed friendly and experienced, I decided to join them. This is by far the luckiest thing that has ever happened to me in GW and I have remained happily in the guild since.

Trivia
  • Favorite creatures: Abyssal, Oni, Stone Guardian, Warden.
  • Chadarian has a habit of getting stuck in odd situations.
    • The first time was in the Riverside Province mission, where he unintentionally got on top of a tower (without using any skill for transportation) and could not get down.
    • Another time he got stuck in the skin of a Siege Devourer, but with his normal skills equipped. This lasted for the whole vanquish of Sacnoth Valley, and dying did not reset it.

About
Chadarian grew up to be a talented and promising magician, specialized at controlling and understanding the four elements. He used his powers wherever needed; fertilizing the soil, strengthening the Great Northern Wall with Earth; creating rain incase of drought with Water; conjuring winds to move objects and help the windmills with Air; bring warmth with Fire in the cold of winter.

He enjoyed life, living with his wife in a small cottage on the outskirts of Ashford. Although he thought of the threat the Charr posed from time to time, it didn't trouble him for long. The Wall would keep them safe.

He was on his way home to his beloved wife and newborn daughter when the Searing struck. A crystal from the sky landed on their cottage in front of his eyes, completely demolishing it. In rage and sorrow he screamed out his defiance and ran towards the ruins, but he was of course too late. He was found by a search party desperately digging through the shambles. His eyes were wide open and his body completely covered in dirt apart from the trails in his face left by his tears. He was brought to what became the Sardelac Sanitarium and cared for until his powers were required at Fort Ranik, two years later. Up to this date he had been in apathy, occasionally found curled up in a corner of his room, crying. Although his condition was improving, his mind was still in turmoil. After a failed suicide attempt he was kept under constant guard, for his own safety. During the mission at Fort Ranik he changed. All the rage he had kept hidden for the past two years was unleashed; the Charr stood little chance. They were crushed by large boulders, hit by sharp pieces of ice, struck by lightning, engulfed in flames. Chadarian's one purpose was now to revenge his dead wife and daughter. But no matter how many Charr that fell before him there was no end to them, and the satisfaction faded.

When Rurik left Ascalon for Kryta Chadarian, who yet again cared little for anything in life, was convinced to follow. He was told not to grief over what was lost but to look to the future and how he could make it worth living in. Although the words had little impact on him it gave him something to do, so he travelled with the caravan and helped defend them from the many dangers of the Shiverpeaks.

The Chadarian in Kryta is a bitter and depressed person, with the occasional outbursts of rage. He dwells in the past and has started drinking heavily. People aviod him, apart from his old caretaker.

About
Once a monk of Ashford Abbey, and later the Sardelac Sanitarium, he cared for those whose mind had suffered during the Searing. He took a special interest in a certain elementalist, after the patient's failed suicide attempt, and vowed to cure him. When his patient's arcane expertise was requested by King Adelbern at Fort Ranik Zythaar feared for the elementalist's peace of mind. He did however see how his patient could aid the mission and reluctantly agreed, if he himself also could join the group. Despite the success of the mission he agreed with Rurik's decision to leave Ascalon behind. His hope was that his ward would be able to find peace in Kryta. Although remaining in Ascalon probably wouldn't have helped him recover, traveling to Kryta and what it later lead to sure didn't.

About
Zaraki tries to live life to it's fullest. He has seen the dark parts that inevitably comes with life, but has learned to accept them as a part of it. He is often cheerful and optimistic, which makes him liked by comrades and makes him something of a natural leader. He enjoys a good sparring, or even a real fight, because it makes him feel alive. He is also known to drink a lot, but always to celebrate, never to grief. Free of spirit he never lets anything bind him, and had no problem leaving Ascalon. Life would probably be better in Kryta, as his friend Zythaar had told him, even though he didnt seem to optimistic about it as usual. Wherever life will take him, there will always be room for a laugh.

  • Lurker - "Wabbajack"
About
Little is known about his early life, but he was once known as Aesgareth, of the Kurzick House Durheim. He is known in ritualist circles as skilled, but unorthodox in his methods of accuring power. He also believes the parts of magical creatures will grant him their power, which have many view him with doubt. He lives alone on the outskirts of Echovald forest, and seldom has any visitors. A reason people rarely contact him is his habit of speaking in seemingly meaningless sentences, sometimes to himself.

The Demon Sovereign is a taken name, because of his ability manipulate spirits. Besides this, he has spent much time studying the ruins and animal life of many places in Cantha.

Recently it had come to the Kurzick authoroties' attention that he had been performing experiments regarding demons and other wicked spirits, along with people "disappearing". At the same time as his research was discovered however, he went on a journey to Kryta, and the Kurzicks could not warn the Kaineng authorities in time before he sailed off. Apparently he left with a short woman, who matched the description of one of the people who had disappeared. It is not sure why he so suddenly sailed off to Kryta, but who could guess the thoughts of a madman?

  • White Crab - "Cespenar"
About
The Pale Shade is a prisoner, in her own body. She detests her it because it is so much unlike her normal form. It's small, weak, lacks claws and the skin feels like it's a few sizes too small. In addition she is forced to do the bidding of a lowly human! He replaced her claws with sharp pieces of steel, but then ordered her to not kill anything unless he says so! No ripping, maiming, mauling or butchering. He's probably doing all this because she ripped out his eyes. Pathetic, he should grow new ones! She doesnt like this world, it's too safe. There is no sense of always being watched, never knowing what might come after you. She'll probably have to cause some destruction to get herself hunted before she returns to the spirit world, once she is free from the bond. A bond with a human? Repulsive! The bare thought makes her skin crawl and tentacles twitch, if she still had any. She could be worse off though, this human apparently does thing that others dislike, so they are always on the move, that's the closest thing to excitement she gets.

There is beauty in killing and suffering, but that seems hard to comprehend for humans. Can they not see the beauty in a gash, the blood gracefully flowing from the body? The power that surges through you in a fight over life and death? She likes to win, but even more she likes to fight.

If she's not reading she's often found walking the wilderness should she happen to come across a plant, animal or other object that catches her attention. While studying she's distant and her mind focused on that one thing beneath her gaze.

Torgal is a thief catcher. He tracks down people, capture them and brings them back. Most often the target is a thief or criminal, but on occasion he has tracked down people lost in the wilderness. His father was a thief catcher and his father before him. Both of them successful catchers, but Torgal chose the professon more out of necessity than interest. He's quite the low spirited character and chasing outlaws doesnt exactly cheer you up. Still, life was peaceful until Bokka, his current employer, ordered Torgal to find the culprit who had stolen the ingredients for his next grand feast. Bokka was a demanding employer, but he payed well, and as such he didnt like Torgal's pessimistic way of seeing things. Bokka therefore demanded that Torgal returned with the culprit or not at all. Torgal accepted this with his usal lack of enthusiasm and dodged a flying plate on the way out. The target, apparently called Dewain, wasn't hard to track but traveled fast. Through Kourna and across the sea to Lion's Arch the chase went, but there it suddenly came to a halt. The thief was still in Lion's Arch when Torgal arrived, but what do you do when the thief you have to capture is already in jail?

About
Dewain likes helping people and do what is right. "Right" is things that isnt wrong, and everyone knows what wrong is. When he thinks about it, life is as simple as that. Simple is good. Due to doing what he feel is right he has often been in conflict with the authorities. This came to an end when he stole food from one of Bokka's banquettes to give to some poor farmers. In that order. While looking for some poor farmers to give the food to Bokka sent out some hirelings to find the thief. Dewain heard of this and thought that the right thing to do probably was to go away for a while. After dumping the food at his friend Norgu, because Norgu appreciates good food, he traveled south through Kourna.

In Kourna he came across some farmers just about to be plundered by bandits. The farmers were of course very upset and had to give the bandits their sacks of grain. The right thing to do was clear to Dewain: beat up the bandits and return the food. The spear he had made proved very handy in beating the oppressors. With the bandits fleeing Dewain returned the sacks to the farmers who, strangely, became even more upset. The bandits were a gang called "Tax Collectors", and apparently this Tax was a very powerful person because the farmers feared they would be blamed for retaking their food. So Dewain tied them up in their home. If they were unable to leave the farm they must be innocent, simple. Dewain liked things simple, because the Gods made all things simple, and why wouldn't they? Anyway... with both Tax' and Bokka's henchmen chasing him, Dewain decided to travel really far away. Kryta sounded nice, like... in fact he didn't know what it sounded like, but he liked it. He enlisted on a ship to get Lion's Arch. The trip went well but once there he accidentally bumped into a fellow dressed all in white. The fellow got quite muddy and his mantle slid off, so Dewain threw it into the harbour to wash away th mud. Oddly enough, this gesture of helpfullness made the man outright furious and had Dewain thrown in jail. There was a drunk man there too, who fell of his keg laughing. That got him thrown in jail too. This land is so confusing, where both washing and laughing is punishable.
