He was sent to Ascalon shortly before the Searing to study under Mhenlo. After he had fulfilled the Flameseeker Prophecies, he temporarily returned to Cantha to help fight Shiro the Betrayer. When the dark god Abaddon threatened to turn the whole world into his nightmarish realm, he travelled to Elona to prevent Abaddons uprising and witnessed the creation of the Goddess of Truth. Not much time was left for recreation, because only a few years later Earthquakes began to rattle through Tyria, and the world again required the help of heroes, to fight alongside the Dwarves, Asura and Norn against The Great Destroyer.
