This project has 3 primary goals:

-GET: Providing the best universal and easiest way to get templates.

-MANAGE: Providing an easy way to manage your templates.

-GIVE: Provide an easy understandable way to give templates to the database.

Key Planned Features of the Program:

-News: Display all news related to Guild Wars. Think of it was the login screen, the front page of Guildwars.com, and any dev news on the official Wiki all rolled into one page. You'll never need to go to the frontpage ever again! :P

-Templates: The main focus. The program allows you to download and upload templates. This feature can be easily broken down into 5 planned features:

• Downloading and Uploading Skill & Item templates, includes the ability to download all available templates quickly with the press of a button.

• User comments on templates.

• Searching through all templates by game mode and type and class, includes tagging and you can filter by tags.

• An information panel that explains how to play the template.

• Organized with a superior organization by Game Mode (PvE/PvP), Game Type (Hero, Farming, Elite Area, General/RA,TA,AB,CM,GvG,HA,HB), and Class. Example:

PvP-RA-Monk-Mo/W Stance Monk [GREAT]

Features being discussed but iffy on:

-Rating: Not sure if to do this or not. Abuseable by idiots.

-Deletion: Deleting old templates that no longer work. Might make it an option, but trying to find a good way to do it. I don't want to do it by name because people could name something the same name and lose their template.

-Forums: Stupid people again.

-Moderators: To help manage the templates.

Q1: Price?

A1: Free.

Q2: What about PvXWiki, this could very well destroy it?

A2: lol PvXwiki. If that happens, then ok. Downloading all the templates from PvXWiki is annoying, which is definitely part of the reason I decided to do this.

Q4: What is this being done in?

A4: Java. (most likely)

Q7: What about my templates...:(

A7: It'll backup your Skill & Template folders. Users will want to tag their builds with the tag [USER], and put it into the relevant folders when done.

Q8: How can I has see early version...

A8: I made an example of how the organization will look (note: this isn't the program, the program isn't made yet) here: http://tinyurl.com/6cnwvu however this is a few weeks old and there is a mistake in a few of the template codes, and it only has skill templates. Some of the builds might not be as good now etc.So use that on your own accord, but you'll see the organization is very good and easy to use. This is basically an early build of the skill templates I've been collecting for the database.
