About me
I am leader of the Shadows Of Desires (SOD) guild.
Background: I first played this game during the E3 For Everyone event. I immediately found it a fun game and loved the idea of no monthly fee (hate feeling guilty for not playing a game!). I never got to be part of the beta program so would follow news on this game and the moment it came out for pre-order I got myself the Collectors Edition (something I've not regretted - Divine Aura!!). My first character technically was a female ranger called Chandri Lang but she only lasted a few weeks due to the fact I made Dorsk Khomm a few hours after her and enjoyed him more. Ever since then I have been a die-hard fan helping players and guild members, enlisting their help to get titles and ordering the Collectors Edition of every game they release. I even bought myself a 2nd copy a month before they mentioned we'd be able to buy slots (how I wish I could merge them).
ArenaNet have successfully got themselves a dedicated gamer who now classes Guild Wars as one of his favourite games ever and who will be a life-long follower. This is due to the fact that I met my now wife playing this game (bought her a diamond ring and gave her a diamond in-game). Guild Wars will potentially have a future player too now that my wife is pregnant! :)
Achievements: My main achievement is getting My Guild Hall Smells of Rich Mahogany with my Dorsk Khomm who now has 27 maxed titles. I also managed to reach 424k XP with Lord Of The Sods before dying (that's playing normally - none of this survivor farming!).
Current Goals: I may try to attain the God Walking Among Mere Mortals title with Dorsk Khomm by concentrating on the Lucky/Unlucky, Wisdom and Treasure Hunter titles. If I ever get any spare time I may also get Lord Shamhain Kind of a Big Deal. A minor goal I wish to achieve is to unlock every primary elite on each character.
Contact: I usually play in game between 9pm - 11pm (GMT) weekdays depending on personal life. I play quite a lot on Saturday's but Sunday is the only day the fiancee and I have together so am only online if she is.
