Shiaris never knew her parents, as both were brutally slain by the Charr when she was an infant. Though the Charr had yet to invade the human kingdoms, several groups had performed guerilla attacks which slowly would build up tension between them and Ascalon, eventually leading to the invasion in 1070AE. Shiaris was taken in by a member of the Ascalon Army. When she had gotten old enough, she was drafted into said army, despite attempts by her caretaker to keep her hidden from the eyes of the government. Shiaris is a noble warrior, though also very emotionless and dull to all but a few. It is only in battle, or with friends, that she reveals any of her true colors. She volunteered to help the Deldrimor War Effort and is part of the sieges against Sorrow's Furnace. Since Deldrimor drove out the Summit, Shiaris has had nothing going on, really...
